I'm 100% sure the NY fireworks were better than the English ones. I watched all of the fireworks/shows and the only one that was better than NYs was the Australian one.

Watching that "stupid" ball drop and singing "New York, New York" is just American. Did Ryan Seacrest host the British fireworks? Was Dick Clark there? Did the Backstreet Boys sing? Was Ke$ha there wearing some crazy lipstick? Noooooope. It's pretty hard to top that man

There were fireworks? I watched the video on YouTube, and all I saw was a bunch of people kissing each other after the ball dropped... There were a few fireworks, but nothing special...
