i thought Gotama Buddha was the founder?

My notes say Siddhartha Gautama was the founder, because he was born a prince and all this stuff he's either gonna be a great king or a great religious leader. So he goes out, and sits under the tree... and becomes known as Buddha.

I'm just going with my notes because that's what my teacher told me and that's what he's grading it on...

First paragraphs of those sections;;

Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, was the founder of Buddhism and is worshiped by many Buddhists. Buddhists don’t have a god, they are nontheistic, but some do worship Buddha like a god. Buddhism was founded at around 500 B.C. in Northern India. After many failed attempts at figuring out just what needs to be done about religion, Buddha sat underneath a fig tree and meditating, deciding not to get up from his spot under the tree until he has reached enlightenment.

Christianity is the last of the ancient religions. It was founded by Jesus, the savior to the Christians. Christianity was founded around 30 A.D. around when Jesus was crucified. It began in the Holy Land (or the Jews, because Jesus was Jewish) which is in the Middle East (modern day). It was founded because Jesus is the Son of God and died for people’s sins, he was more than a prophet.

Gonna make a few quick edits:

"he was more than a prophet" is a fragment; try to tie it into the previous sentence or add on to that
