Oh Jade! Hiiiiiii. :p
That was great, I couldn't stop laughing. :')

"OH GOOD GOD I FEEL LIKE A LIBERALLLLL"
manic street preachers lyrics ftw.

Crap, she found us! Run!

I thought you were coming here, mukka? :p
Naw I'm definitely coming to visit some DISers and people I know over there, even if I need to crash on your floor! xD

Oh, I am, dear. Don't worry, mukka!

We did a project about the "under god" part that was added to the pledge, in Old Testement class. When it was added, America's "official" religion was Christianity. It's showing us that after all we went through, we're still a nation, ONE nation, not two seperate nations, not anything.

Yes, we are all lucky, lucky to be free. Not all of us are lucky to have family, or money, or homes, or food. But we're all still free (:

I don't hate everyone in Iran, but do I like them? No, not really.

I love his class! He gives us all a different opinion on things, and has interesting ideas. The fact that my two best friends sit behind me in that class helps also

I thought America wasn't supposed to have an "official" religion because we have freedom OF religion. The whole thing is BS to me.

NOT ALL OF US ARE FREE.

God, I really hate this country sometimes.

BOOMTING

I could move to canada tomorrow if I wanted I guess.
but I can't.
D:

LOL xD well. a change. America is SOOOOOOO different to the UK it's nice and refreshing.

(adsasd I totally just realized, the cookie thing works in a different way! Since y'all have biscuits or scones or whatever, and we have cookies! xD)

Exactly why I'm not fond of the South. Again, don't get me started on the Bible Belt/Southern Baptist thing. Grrr. In the north, we're just like "screw this, we're moving to Canada", XD. Really. We are. Liberalness FTW.

I am not Southern Baptist, please don't bring them up. Catholics and Baptists just don't mix well. xD

That's why I put "official" in "" I said official meaning that everyone in America at that time period was Christian. That's why. Now, many religions are here, but they don't change the pledge. I dunno why

Yes, all Americans are free.

I still can't believe I got killed in the MM thread...

Well, okay, I can BELIEVE it, I just don't want to, XD.

They actually were going to take out "under God" at one point due to controversy, and I think they did omit it for some time, but it ended up coming back and staying. I wanna say this was in the 70s. They should change it, IMO. At least it's not mandatory to say; it's optional.

No, not all. Not all.

Same here, same here

And going back to your question about "studying in France / Italy"
France- never. I don't want to go there at all.
Italy- I've always wanted to go there, that's where my family is from. Would I ever want to go to school there? No. Would I ever want to move there? No. Would I ever want to go on vacation there? Yes, absolutly. I love Italy with all my heart, but I would never ever leave America

Why not?
Haha. I'm fond of Toronto myself.
Eh. It's OK. There's much better places.

JW, why are all Americans not free? Do we have the freedom of speech? Yes. Do we have the freedom of religion? Yes. Can we have whatever job we'd like? Yes (if you work for it). Can we chose our family? Yes.

I'm just a little confused?

My mom got two really adorable Halloween Hello Kitty dolls last night.

I'm about to steal the bat one, it's just too cute.

I'm leaving this after I get out of college, probably. Straight to England I go! Of course I'll come back for visits and WDW. Of course for WDW. But I can't wait to get out of here. I guess it's the way I've been schooled. That America isn't #1, but there are loads of great countries out there, like England and Japan.

Don't they call people "love" over there? Like "Elin, love, could you help me set the table?" "Sure, Mum!"

Haha. I'm fond of Toronto myself.

Yes! I say that all the time. :')
To confuse you even more, I don't call my mother "mum" In Wales, a lot of us say "mam". I think they say mam in Newcastle as well :cutie:

Why not?

Eh. It's OK. There's much better places.

New Brunswick, too. Oh, and Nova Scotia!

Gays aren't free to marry who they'd like...in a few states, but not all...

Freedom of speech is BS sometimes. Hello, censorship!

Same with freedom of religion.
