The raining umbrella in the studios

This might sound stupid but: how do you make it rain?!?!?!?

All the times I've been, it's never rained for me! I presumed there'd be a button or something but I could never find one. I've got a trip coming up again soon and am determined to get a picture of me stood under it whilst it's raining.

If its the same as the one at WDW you need to stand in the right place as there is a plate that activates it

Last time I went I stood everywhere, I also held the handle in every way possible. I felt like a right idiot because it would rain for other people but not for me!

Maybe it doesn't like me!

We decided it wasn't working last time we tried.

It's in the WDS outside Les Parapluies de Cherbourg (shop facade selling umbrellas), just found out on dlrpmagic, looking for a picture, that it only rains in the summer, so that explains it for us.

which was a great idea, because not only is that film wonderful and famous,
but that facade is also featured in cinemagique which is just a short walk away!

When we went last november my husband and son stood under and it rained, just asked my husband how it happened and he cant remember whether he did anything or not. He seems to think he just stood under it and it rained.

My other half stood under it yesterday and it rained, dont think she done anything at all.

We were there in September and i'm sure there is a button that you press (think it was somewhere on the lampost????) and it will start raining. If it's rain you want come to Scotland!!!!!! lol
