Sorry, I was apparently channeling Grease there for a second.

Which I must say is one of my all-time favorite movies! Not only do I know the words to all the songs, but also all the choreography because I watched it that many times, including the hand jive and John Travolta's signature move with the saran wrap during Grease Lightnin' (yeah, you know the one I am talking about ). I also used to be able to say most of the lines, too, but I may have become a bit rusty on those.

That's my sad secret -- that I grew up thinking that my high school experience would be just like theirs'.

Oh, and don't get me started on how much it irritates me when people say that HSM is the Grease of this generation. As if!

Sigh -- I have Dirty Dancing issues because I wasn't allowed to go see it when it came out. All my friends did, and that was all they talked about. It still makes me sad.

I think when I was a kid and I saw it many just went over my head! LOL! Love that movie! Had the soundtrack on cassette (dating myself here!) and played it over and over!

I didn't remember all the innuendos either until I made Chelsea watch it with me during her HSM phase -- oops! I don't think she picked up on them either.
