I just watching Enchanted this morning! I borrowed it from my FIL of all people. He buys DVD's all the time. I thought it was a great movie.

We bought Enchanted to go in the DD's Easter basket. We all loved it, and she watched it twice more on the drive home.

Plus, we'll be in Disney June 8-15th as well!!

Shout out to the Peeps from the Easter Bunny

Speaking of, the Washington Post ran pics of their annual Peeps displays contest -- go check out it out -- my favorite was the one based on The Birds.

Sadly, I think we are finished with seeing Peeps in stores until Halloween . We'll have to content ourselves with your TR photos.

Enchanted...not bad for a kids/chick flick.....It's Disney so it's all good....

Chick flick? Nah, my dad tried to say the same thing, but DS replied, "No, it has action in it!"

It's so neat to see people doing things for their kids still.....not too busy to make Holidays special....Good parents....

I want my children to remember their childhood fondly -- except for the "Mean Mommy" Revue that seems to happen at least once a day (according to DD anyway).

Oh, I hope you both like it as much as we did! It is set in NYC, you know -- a santitized Times Square/Central Park version, but neat nonetheless!

My niece had her party at the movies and picked Enchanted -- it was a hit among the pre-teen set and all the moms!

I am such a Disney nerd that I even bought the soundtrack for the car. Amy Adams, I am not, but only the kids have to be subjected to my off-key singing.

Central Park is very clean and sanitized.

The bridge where I guess the Prince jumps off then gets hit by the bicyclists I have walked by 100's of times.

I love when they film in NY for a NY setting.

They were filming something on my block today and the paparazzi were there. I had to walk through them and I said "no pics please". I try to ammuse people.

We are staying at Windsor Hills in one of the condos. Too many people to stay affordably on-site.

Are you from Charleston? My wife is from Moncks Corner. We live in Cumming/Alpharetta/Johns Creek now (where they all run together.)

Sadly, nothing gets filmed here in rural GA. However, when I was growing up in Charleston, they filmed various things. Remember that mini-series North and South? That was filmed in my hometown . I am sure there were other films, too...

I know exactly where Moncks Corner is...I grew up in Charleston and live north of Atlanta now (we lived in the East Cobb area right after we moved to GA)...we are pretty close -- well depending on Atlanta traffic !
