Kairi: They got out and walked into the Great Hall with other students. "I can't wait to the school year," Kairi said as they walked to their tables.

Lark: She nodded. "Neither can I. Hope Jack's fine," she said. "I bet he's deathly nervous."

Kairi: "He'll be fine," she said. Then they parted ways, Kairi sitting at the Gryffindor table, Lark at the Ravenclaw.

Jack: They were crossing the lake. He was rowing a small boat with two other first-year girls, who were chatting so fast he gave up on trying to keep up with the conversation. Instead, he was trying to figure out what House he'd be in. Not Slytherin and not Gryffindor, so either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff...

Hamilton: "Oh,m I suppose." When he entered, he slid off Oliver's back, thanked him, and wandered off, waving to his friend Luna before taking a seat next to his dorm mates and his friend Ginny.

Rose: She walked up to the castle. Finally, she was at her favorite place - even more than the mansion back home.

Esmire: "New potion, we picked up some fresh plants in South America over the summer."

Hermione: "Our new Defense teacher seems skilled."
