Day 1 - Will we get there??
So the day has dawned at last We are officially flying to Florida today. At this point i am checking flight tracking sites to see the status of Globespans flights Everything is looking good and i content myself that we should depart on time. Last night my DD and SM said they would come to the airport to see us off.
We leave home at 10am and our flight is scheduled for 2.10pm. As we have pre-booked seats we have no hurry to arrive for seat selection. At around 10.20am I receive a call from my SM asking were we are as her and dad are already at the airport,lol. We finally arrive at the NCP Long stay car park which cost us £48.99 for 17 days. I call Dad and they will wait for the bus and help us with our luggage. Thank you Dad
We get to Globespan check in desk and are on our way in 5 mins. We all have lunch together before we go through international departures and say our goodbyes.
There was a big que but it went really quickly and we were soon in the waiting area.
I looked at the flight board and just then GSM725 was boarding. Our row is called and by 2pm we are in the plane with seatbelts on.
The plane departs on time and the captain announces that we will land at 5.10pm Orlando time which is one hour earlier than we thought. This is mines and the girls fist time flying and we all enjoy it. The flight is uneventful and seems muck quicker than 7 hours.
We arrive at Sandford and the airport seems empty apart from our flight. We quickly get through immigration and are at the dollar desk by 5.30pm.
We are given a white Dodge Caliber and we manage to fit everything in although there is concerns from hubby that we wont on the way back. He ain't seen me pack,Lol
We are now heading for the villa. I am navigator and i am armed with mapmans map. What can possibly go wrong,lol. DH tries to get a grip on the car as he has never driven an automatic before. We manage to get out of the airport and onto the I4 which is our chosen road. We seem to be doing well until DH takes the cutoff to WDW and we end up hitting MK. I am sooo tired by now and tempers are short. Lots of shouting and blame passes between us and we stop at a chick fil-a to ask for directions. DH goes in and buys drinks and the guy keep saying "what no chicken" This chick fil-a was a landmark to us throughout ,lol. We agree to take it easy and try not to shout at each other, easier said than done! Eventually we are off the 192 and onto HWY27 we are 3 turns in on the right. We reach the villa and the relief that goes through us is amazing. Smiles back on now i head to the door of the villa and punch in the code. The door is still locked. 4 attempts later (in the dark) I give up and retrieve the key from the lock box!
We are in!!!!! Hooray!!!!!
Wow the Villa is gorgeous and we are very happy with the choice we made.
It is 9pm Orlando time and the girls are shattered and in bed very quickly. I decide to unpack and it is 2am in Florida before we get to bed!!

Like you..I am planning a trip for the near future ( my DH has NO idea yet !! 
)...but to go when they are 9 and 7 in 2009 ! I was just wondering where did you find the villa...? It looks lovely..and if I may ask how much was it for the days you were there. If we were to go those would be the dates.
