I have been thinking about posting a pre-trip plan for weeks and now I HAVE to do it cause otherwise, I will go crazy waiting for the plane to take off in 48 HOURS! :cool1:

Here it goes............

5 1/2 years ago, DH and I spent a week at WDW on our honeymoon. In fact, we stayed at POP the week it opened and LOVED IT!!! Such a cool place.

The Bride Ears.....still have them...safely displayed on a shelf in my home office.

DH and I posing with Pooh and Piglet - looking back I looked okay (I am 5 1/2 months pregnant in this picture!!!)

Fast forward to this coming Sunday.........the plane leaves DC at 8AM and we are heading to WDW with our DD for her first visit to Disney. AND SHE DOESNT KNOW!!! Really. We booked the trip in April and have managed to keep it a secret since then.

The plan is to wake her up early Sunday wearing the above mentioned bride ears and whisper "DD, its time to wake up. Get dressed in your favorite Princess tshirt so we can go meet Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty!!!!".

I cannot wait to see the look on her face!

Packing is almost done - I have the suitcases hidden in the closet and have been doing all the WDW Planning during the day (shhh, dont tell the boss!:rotfl:) and after bedtime for DD.

Here is our Trip Plan:

Arriving at the airport at 10AM. Taking ME to The World. We are staying at All Star Music (DD loves to play guitar so we thought that resort would be perfect for her!).

Sunday: As soon as we get to the resort, we will head over to Hollywood Studios for the rest of the day. Downtown Disney that night with a friend who lives in ORL.

Monday: Magic Kingdom all day!!! DD has a surprise BBB appt at 10AM followed by lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table at 12:05PM. Fireworks and parade at MK that night.

Tuesday: Animal Kingdom and, as time permits, Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. The water park is an "if we feel like it/have time" agenda item. This night, my uncle is driving down from Tampa for dinner with us.

Wednesday: EPCOT and more Magic Kingdom. There is a small list of "want to see" at EPCOT so we are going to spend the morning there and then head back to MK for the rest of the day.

Thursday: Donald's Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom then back to ASMu to pack up and maybe a quick swim before heading to the airport.

Its a short trip this time but I think it will be perfect for her first trip. Every day we are planning to head back to the resort mid-day (or between parks if we are hopping) for a break....as much for DH and I as for DD!!!
