I LOVED your bathrobe pictures. I would totally do that. In fact...I've come close. My last trip, I bought one of the bathrobes from the Tower of Terror giftshop and then put it on and walked through the line and rode the ride wearing it. I pretended I was a guest at the Hollywood Tower Hotel and was looking for the pool. It was hilarious. Everyone thought I was nuts!

Oh and potato casserole is definitely the best thing ever. I am so in love with that stuff...it's so heavenly! I'm also obsessed with the dinner at 1900 Park Fare too...so many delicious options!!

I'm going to have to go over and read your February report now!!

My last trip, I bought one of the bathrobes from the Tower of Terror giftshop and then put it on and walked through the line and rode the ride wearing it. Chapter 29 - Soaking Up Our Last Bits of Magic
January 19th, 2011

After our wonderful breakfast, Kristen, Vick, and I left Akershus and headed to Soarin' to get Fastpasses. We wanted to make sure we got on that ride before we left today.

Thankfully, since we left the restaurant at 9:01, we got to the Land Pavilion and got nice (and early) Fastpasses!

We looked at the Standby line and it said 20 minutes. The cast members saw us looking at it, and they told us that it wouldn't even be that long! So we decided to ride it and there was hardly any line at all!

Vickie is very amused by the people who are riding the ride incorrectly in this sign. She calls them "the dancing people."

This was Vick's first flight on Soarin' and she loved it!

When we exited the ride, the wait time said 5 minutes! That's such a strange sight to see!

Then we went to Test Track. It was literally a walk on! Once we got in the briefing room, they just opened the doors and let us skip the video. So we just took a brisk little walk into our car!

Test Track was fun, as always! Haha I just noticed how funny our faces are in this ride picture... LOL. Kristen and I look like Dinosaurs and Vick looks very confused. How frumpy.

However, while we were walking out, I realized that I lost my phone! OH NO! I must have dropped it or left it on the ride!

So, we walked back to the exit and I told a Cast Member, Keith, that I lost my phone. He was great! He told me exactly what to do. (This must happen a little too often)

I just had to go to the Photo Pick-up and find my picture. Then I could find my car number. Once I had that, I needed to come back and he could check the car for me.

So, we went to the Photo Pick-up and another man was doing the same thing as me! He lost his phone as well.

After he was finished, I looked for my picture. We found out that we were in Car 16, it was Yellow, and I sat in the back row. Thank GOD they take ride photos on Test Track!

With my newly acquired information, I headed back to the exit to find Keith. This old man cast member was like "YOU CAN'T GO IN HERE, THIS IS A SAFETY ZONE!"

That was just sort of a frustrating encounter when I was doing what I was told to do. However, he didn't know. But still. He was mean about it. I just don't get why some people have to be so snippy. It puts a damper on things, ya know? I think his name was Bob. And he was old. Boo, Bob. Go Keith!! (Did I mention Keith was cute? Yeah, he was. LOL)

Thankfully, Keith came to save the day. I told him the information, the car came into the loading dock, he went and checked, and my phone was there!! YAY!! He was great! Thank you, Keith!

We exited the Test Track building and grabbed Fastpasses for Test Track for later. (Unfortunately, we never got to use them. Oh well.)

Then we headed over to Mission: SPACE. We were going to ride the Orange Side again, but the wait time said 35 minutes. The Green Side only said 10, so we just decided to ride that instead.

I actually liked the Green Side. It was more relaxing. It reminded me of Star Tours.

Then we got off and met up with Mother at Mouse Gear.

We did the last of our shopping. I got a Red T-Shirt (child-sized) and a 40th Anniversary Laptop Case. Hey, only 10 years till the 50th Anniversary of Disney World! That is CRAZY.

After MouseGear, used our fastpasses so we could all go on Soarin'.



We got in Row One both times today with minimal waits! How Fantastic.

I use a Nikon D3100 and a Sony Cybershot. The best pictures are taken with the Nikon, though. (It's the fancier one, while the Sony is just a point and shoot) I also use iPhoto to brighten some of the photos us! Thanks for reading! I hope you're enjoying both reports!

Great last day update. I can't believe you saw a 5min stand by sign for Soarin'!!!! I think the lowest I have seen it is 60mins and that was right after rope drop! Good for you gals. I may have to plan a Jan. trip for us one year.

And thank goodness for Keith. Losing my phone is AWFUL! It's only happened twice. This time, and then last weekend I left it at Friendly's! But I thought I lost it on the beach. And it was late at night at that point, too. What a disaster! Thankfully, Friendly's called me and I found it. So it's all good
And the orange side... I didn't think it was that bad. But I can handle most rides... So I don't know. I guess it depends on the person.
And i know. I wish this trip didn't have to end!
