He is a bit uncomfortable, but I thought I would post as I know many are following this journey with us. He did ok, very sleepy though from all the versed they gave him, better that than he feel it consciously.. He was very chatty with the nurses, versed does that, and told them how we met and that I drove a yellow Volkswagon convertible.....back in the day before they remade them...We loved that he was chatty, usually he is very private, although quite outgoing, but private about his family.. Of course, he charmed all the nurses, he has that way.
So we met with the oncologist after and discussed the scans and also the treatment. Right now, his condition has not changed, it is where it was before, neck and a lymph in his lung but no major organs....which is good and we will take that and run with it. I asked the doctor why he was using this specific treatment that they usually use for colon cancer and he told me that there had been a study in Europe where people responded well with Pancreatic so at least I know he is paying attention to what else is going on with treatment for PC and since it does not usually respond to chemo, I think he is doing well by us to try this. One can hope it works....
So....we are moving forward and I will continue to post as we go along.
