some guests were VERY rude to the help! Everyone was so helpful, friendly and couldn't be nice enough. But some guests can be so rude! Captain Cook's was very busy the other night. I guess an unexpected number of people eating due to the sudden rainstorm. The workers were busy but people were complaining loudly about how slow they were, blah blah blah. I wish people would be more patient.

It's really too bad that people can't understand that CM's or service people anywhere just can't always keep up with higher than normal crowds. Even when they do the best they can sometimes it takes a little patience which seems in short supply nowadays.

While I agree that there should never be rude guests, I would take them over rude Cast Members. My feeling is with a rude guest chances are you would never see them again, however if there was a rude Cast Member where you happen to be staying, I would not want to take a chance by seeing them again.

It becomes a vicious cycle. Rude guests make CM's angry, especially when training isn't really key. Then, those CMs get more bitter which, in turn, may reduce service, so more guests act rudely... so on... so on... I always try to be very polite and interactive with CMs to know they are appreciated and that it can be a tough job.
