How much longer can we still walk to MK from poly? That should be a thread. I’m hoping this fall that I can still do this, or they’ll allow a temporary path around construction?

What if you’re trying to get to the GF gym? Do you need to take a boat?

What about the RunDisney events? How do they get through?

Nothing like this has to be decided yet. So absence of language does not mean One way or the other. I think that is what they want.

VGF came right out to say it’s the same. Maybe because the change is 2019 is that all new resorts are restricted. Should the assumption then be that it’s new unless they confirm it’s not? Could that be why they made sure to say that when announcing the quick flip of a building for VGF?

You can read the notice and find ways to pretty much support either choice. In terms of updated the POS, they did not yet announce a name, so no need to update that yet,

If it becomes part of PvB, it doesn’t need an update. If it will be new, it gets added then. Right now, it’s neither and I think DVD wants it that way because they don’t want anyone to know what they will do…and that is even if it has been decided.

Could they be waiting to announce it shortly once it opens to new buyers so they can now add it to the sale pitch as new?

But, the fact they did not announce it specifically as part of PVB means something and IMO, leads more for it being new than the same.

well they did say it would compliment the existing villas and it was not given its own new name. You could interpret that either way really.

I agree and that’s why you can read each piece and make it fit whatever way you think it will go.

The title was “New DVC villas coming to the Poly Village Resort (the hotel) and not “New DVC villas coming to Poly Villas and Bungalows (DVC).

If it was to be part of the PVB, wouldn’t it have said that? It also said complement the existing resort…does that mean resort as in area, or resort as in PVB? Could be both!

I am not sure a new names means anything yet since if they put in studios it will need one regardless. But I do think the lack of saying it would be part of PVBs association and saying” the proposed vacation ownership property” does,

IMO, I think it tells us at the very least they don’t want us to know!

I love this idea. Someone, I really think it was Sandi, used the name Luau Cove Tower. I think that has to be a strong contender. It dovetails nicely with Bay Lake Tower.

That would be mine! I could see that and the announcement does say it would reflect elements of thE show!

I didn't learn about DVC until after CC was for sale, but have always assumed they created the new association because BRV has the 2042 date and didn't want to tie themselves into a bunch of contracts that expired so soon. As much as I like CC, I hope they follow the GFV model and just incorporate the new Poly tower into the current association.
