Wow, is all I can say after seeing The Polar Express in IMAX 3D! It was wonderful! We first saw this movie in a regular theater last year when it opened and loved it then, but seeing it 7 stories high and in 3D was something else. Anyone else see it in IMAX 3D yet? If not and you have the chance I say you shouldn't miss it. :cool1:

Yes, I saw it last year and it was excellent. I was never that much of a fan of 3D, but it really added something special to the movie.

Last year I shaperoned my daughter's 4th grade class to see it. As a Christmas treat/field trip (it's a Catholic school, so we do have "Christmas"), the classes were bused to the theater to see Polar Express.

The movie had just come out last year and I read several mediocre reviews, so I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly suprised. It was great and the kids loved it.

We were going to travel 6 hrs to Minneapolis to watch it last christmas on an IMAX Screen. We hope Milwaukee's IMAX will have it. But we will probably have to wait 5 years-they stay so behind on movies.

What age do you think The Polar Express is appropriate for? I read DDs the book this year, and would love to see the movie. Is 4 and 2 too young?

the movie even in 3d was only okay for my family. My 10 yr old was bored with it and 2 1/2 yr old liked the train but fell asleep after 1/2 hr. I was sleepy myself watching it.

We saw it last year & this year @ IMAX and my boys LOVED it (Me TOO) They were 3 & 7 last year, 4 & 8 this year. I think younger kids would like it but not as much as an older child. I would tell anyone not to miss it though!!

My son has grown up with the story since he was 2 years old and loves it. The movie is wonderful and I think a 4 year old would definitely love it, however, for a 2 year old I wouldn't see it in IMAX 3-D, I would just see the regular version. I think the IMAX 3-D would be too intense for both of them.
