I read that there was a daily special at the Plaza on a thread somewhere. Is this everyday? Or is it sporatic? We are trying to decide whether or not to go there. Burgers and sandwiches don't excite us but we've never eaten there and it is the only table service restraunt we haven't tried at Magic Kingdom. A daily special would seal the deal for us!

When we were there in May it was meatloaf with mashed potato and corn. I think that is the usual daily special there and if I remember correctly it was $16.99 or so. Bit pricy for meatloaf by DH liked it a lot - big portion!

The 'daily' special has in fact been meatloaf and sides for months and months... it was the special in April, May, June, September...

The Chicken Strawberry salad is my personal favorite there (I am not a big admirer of burgers/sandwiches in general either).

LOL ... we were there in January and meatloaf was the special back then, too. The Plaza is a decent sandwich shop, nothing more. I think that for those using a Table Service credit to eat there, they should at least be
able to choose an appetizer (soup or salad) to help justify use of the credit. But that's just me.

Sandwiches are very good! but I agree to do off DDP and just pay oop!
