This may be a silly question, but since we will be on the DDP, if we eat at the Plaza, is dessert included with the meal?

Yes, thank goodness! If it weren't...I don't think I'd use a dining plan credit for it, because it is awfully close to being counter service!! It was fine, but I could've had very similar food nextdoor at Ray's Cosmic Cafe. Desert did help make up for that, plus there was a crazy lady(CM) who came in and did her little sideshow. Also, it isbeing refurbished and you cannot see out the windows. Can you tell I was disappointed??

Absolutely! And let me tell you that the desserts are :worship::worship: We have had so many wonderful meals here -- great food and great service. We don't look at the dining credit (perhaps because we have always had the free dining) as to whether the meal is worth it in dollars; we look at it as whether the food is worth it. This is always our last meal of our trip -- either on the way to the beach or the airport. It is a wonderful change of pace after all of the heavy meals we have eaten all week.

Actually, KatMark, you were the one who gave me the idea of eating here when I posted about Liberty Tree! I think you may have helped me make my decision. Your right, you can't look at the "value" of a meal from a TS credit standpoint. If you go to an "expensive" TS meal but barely eat or enjoy anything, where is the "value" in that? We are going to be doing quite a few more "pricey" TS places, and your right, this would be a refreshing break. Plus, you can't beat the location of the Plaza! We really want to eat in MK on our last night and we are already doing CP, so this just may be the answer. Thank you!

You are welcome. If you check my link, there are pictures from our meal there in September. :)

We ate at The Plaza for dinner last year for the 1st time and it was great. Our server was excellent and we had very good sandwiches and fantastic desserts! We used the dining plan for our meal and it was definitely worth it. To echo the sentiments of KatMark - The Plaza is a refreshing change from many of the other meals/restaurants in WDW. We have made our adr for The Plaza this year and are looking forward to going back.
