As usual, I am posting our full schedule. This is a LONG post, but really just the highlights of our days.
Please feel free to ask questions, critique and steal our tricks to visiting the world. (we have 25 years of experience touring!)
NOTE: this visit, we are taking things alot slower.....we plan on a much more relaxed and "smell the roses" type of tour. Now as you may know, I always say that....then I see the castle, and start running around like a 10 year old kid on his first visit!!!!!
Universal Studios
November 11th: Arrive and check in at Royal Palms Universal. Tour part of the day at IOA, check out HP before close. Then have dinner with family at City Walk.
November 12th: Tour IOA. Dinner at Mythos
November 13th: Tour US, Open dinner plans (suggestions?)
Walt Disney World
November 14:
Leave 6:30 from US
Arrive at POLY 7:00am (drop off bags and check in)
ADR: Kona 7:30am
Arrive: HS 9:00am (activate Tickets)
ADR: Sci-Fi 2:05pm
Leave: 6:00PM
ADR: California Grill: 7:10pm (watch Wishes from deck)
Notes: No FP scheduled due to the way our trip was booked (split stay) Hopefully a few TSM or TOT will be arrival on arrival day.
Schedule FP for next day before retiring)
November 15th
ADR: Ohana 7:45am
Arrive: Epcot 9:00am
EAT OUR WAY AROUND THE WORLD SHOWCASE
(If we manage to get any FP the previous day, we will try for a late Frozen, TT or Soarin.)
ADR: Chef's de France 6:20pm
Illuminations
Notes: The plan is to finally enjoy all the countries and there unique food and culture. Definite Crepes, Sake, Ketchup chips, Pretzels and chocolate. We will look for a Frozen walk on time late at night that reasonable, since it will be our first time riding.
November 16th
Checkout Poly: 6:30am (bags transferred to Grand Floridian)
Arrive: MK 8:00am
ADR: Cindy's 8:10am
FP: Splash Mountain 12:10pm
FP SDMT 1:15pm
FP
PF 2:25pm
Fireworks Dessert party 8:00pm
Notes: No dinner ADR. We plan on grabbing a late lunch/ early dinner at Peco Bill's. (having gorged ourselves the day before). We planned the FP's around Adventure land through Fantasyland with plans of picking up available FP for Tommorrow Land. We hope to score SPM and BLSRS. IF Stitch is open, we will hit that once more before it disappears.
November 17th
Arrive: Animal Kingdom 9:00am
ADR Tusker House 9:20am
FP: KS 10:15am
FP: EE 12:15pm
FP Dinosaur 1:35pm
ADR Yak and Yeti 5:45pm
Notes: This is the hardest park to schedule at this time. Odd Nighttime entertainment, possible late closing, Dinoland closed?....its been a mess. We opted for the same game plan, early FP and hopefully get another EE FP or Dino FP. We do not really go in for the shows, so we plan on just walking around and visiting the animals. We hope for a late closing because seeing this park after dark should be some serious atmosphere and great pictures. We will do KRR IF the weather is decent.
Suggestions welcome on this one......
November 18th
Arrive: Magic Kingdom 9:00am
Shop along Main
Main street Bakery quick Breakfast
FP : BLSRS 9:50am
FP: SPM :10:55am
FP : SDMT 12:15pm
ADR: BOG 1:15pm
Depart: 7:00pm
ADR: Narcoossee 8:40pm (Holiday Wishes from Dock)
Notes: Touring MK has always been my speciality. We always ride each ride several times. With this tour, we are already down one headliner for us , BTMRR. So this day we will enjoy Liberty Square, Frontierland and Adventure land in the evening. (sunset 5:30ish) We love Pirates and HM at night, and there is something extra special about JC at that time....
Novemeber 19th
ADR: Grande Floridian Cafe Breakfast 9:00am
Arrive EPCOT :10:30am
FP: SE: 10:45am
FP: NEMO 12:05m
FP: Frozen 2:15pm
ADR: Teppen Edo 6:00pm
Illuminations:
Right after Illumination ends...We will park hop over to Magic Kingdom for a shot at BTMRR. MK is open until 12:00 so we should have time to ride this once or twice before we leave. (assuming it opens on time) Then a stroll down Main.....and off to bed.
Notes: This is essentially the reverse of our previous Epcot day. We plan on doing rides all day. Starting with extra FP after 2:15 for TT, Soarin. Assuming we got a walk on Frozen on the 15th and we enjoy it, we will keep the 2:15 FP. The plan is to take our time in The Land, and The Seas, take alot of photos and character greets.
That's the outline. It may seem jam packed but it really leaves alot open compared to our usual minute to minute plans. These touring schedules have always been very successful in the past so there are not alot of changes from past touring. November is a great time to visit WDW, and usually not too crowded. Our children are no 14 and 11, and they are "in the know" for the first time this trip (usually its a surprise we tell them the night before we leave. Its been alot of fun panning the entire trip with them this time around, and to see them get excited as we inch closer day by day to returning to our Happy place.
Fell free to post your plans , and ask questions about why we do what we do WHEN we do it......
