Hello All,

I just wanted to send out my warmest wishes to Shirley @ The Perfect Gift and her extended staff!

My family did the 4 day Wonder Cruise Feb 13th - Feb 17th.
Valentines day was during this period and I wanted to do something special for the family, so after finding a local shop to deliver to the ship on the internet and contacting Shirley @ THE PERFECT GIFT, boy did she deliver.

Shirley made up 2 WONDERful baskets for my children and a beautiful arrangements of flowers for my wife.

The SMILES that were on the faces of my family as they entered our stateroom and looked around and saw these gifts.

Words can not express my happiness.

All because of this WONDERful person Shirley.

I am new to these boards as of today, I just wanted to take the time and THANK Shirley for the fantastic job that she has done and that wonderful memory that I will always have.

If anyone wants to bring a smile to your famliy, I highly Suggest to contact THE PERFECT GIFT as she truly had the PERFECT GIFTS for us.

I, too, would like to welcome the Smith Family to the Disboard - I wrote about a little girl named Hannah who was in challenge and MAW was making it possible for her wish to be granted - when her dad Michael contacted me, it was an instant warm feeling for this family - I forward Andy his note to me and Andy joined me in trying to make this family feel that people did care - as their time approached to go on their cruise, Andy and I felt like we were going on this cruise also - our excitement climbed beyond what anyone could understand, but Andy and I knew and felt all the excitement this family was feeling. I went to the port waving in hoping to catch a glimpse even while speaking to Andy per cell as I followed the Wonder as far as I could by car.
As Hannah and her family continue in her trek of medical treatments, we can only wish that for the moments that tears and fears were turned into smiles and then laughter for this family as they cruised and the memories will continue for many years to come.
Michael Andy and I were very honored to have "met" you and yours and pray that all the bad will become a memory and your Hannah will have a lot more chances of Magical and Wonderous memories.

TheSmithsInDe....I have to second all you said. My son has been battling Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and I too wanted something special for my son. Shirley went above and beyond as I only figured she would from hearing other peoples raves about her. My son was overjoyed with all she had provided for him. She is more than the best! She would truly give the shirt off her back to see a smile on your face. I am so glad you had a good time and were able to enjoy the few days away without problem. Best wishes and many prayers to Hannah and your family.

Oh man where to start. I was at a loss what to include in the basket and Shirley was so patient. LOL. She truly is a gem. When you speak to her she asks what your kids like what you have in mind. I know some people have even sent things to be included into the basket. We had sand toys, bubbles, drawing thing. I have to tell you I thought of Shirley a lot on our Dec trip - at CC when my daughter was playing in the sand with her items and at the sailaway as she was blowing her bubbles away. Also the face that your child has seeing a basket in the room with their name waiting for them...priceless.

I just had to add to this thread! My DD & DS were suprised by sand bucket gift baskets from Shirley on our last cruise. They loved them and insisted on taking the buckets and accessories back home. Imagine my surprise when I looked outside when they were playing in the snow this weekend to see Shirley's sand buckets being used to make snow castles! They worked great! Thanks again Shirley!
