Wow !
So far , the Outgames in Montréal have been incredible.
It all started last weneday with the opening of the Outgame village with shows , food , and drinks.
Last saturady was the Opening ceremonies . Go check video exerps from :

It was a beautifull ceremony at Olympic stadium. The representative of the conservative governement was booed , but the show was amazing. Thw hole city is turning gay ! Every newspaper has at least 3 pages everyday about the competitions and the newsshow always has at least one segment , on every channel.
Beside the OG village , 2km of the main street in gay village is closed to trafic , with restaurants and bars setting up terrases , the street being all decorated , and outside the village , it seem that most stores did special "gayish" window display !
We have gay pride at the same time , so sunday night was the pride parade , launching a week of festivities ( http://www.diverscite.org/). No city was ever gayer than Montréal right now !
I went to see one of my frien competing in the swimming competitions on suday morning. he was swimming with Mark Tewksbury ( olympic gold medalist) in his team. The won silver , and got the canadian record in there age cathegorie. He went on to win , another silver and a gold , so far ! We are very proud !
So , If you are not too far from montreal , come and celebrate with us ! On saturday night is going to be Mascara , the biggest Drag queen show in the world where about 20 Drag queen , some of them with dozens of dancer put up a show for about 20 000 people !
