The Organic Way

Hi! I was lurking on this forum so I thought I'd jump in.

I try to buy organic when I can. I wish that I was more vigilant because I wonder how much the pesticides and chemicals are affecting my DGD first, and for the rest of us how much we have been negatively impacted by all that food has absorbed.

My DD and I will drive to Stu Leonard's for meat often because the "naked" meat is not much ,ore than their regular meats.

I have a GF who has lost a significant amount and maintained through organic eating. My thoughts are if it works, go for it. We need whatever it is we can do to become healthier. For some Organic is the only way. For others it is something else. Whatever the way...go for it!

I have been trying, gradually, to transition to more organic foods and less processed. it's hard. i don't have a local organic grocery store, I have Whole Foods and Trader Joes about 20 mins away and with gas prices so high I don't make that trip very often. I'm hitting farmers markets though as much as I can and buying 'no chemical' package meat as often as i can. i will say it's a pricier way! but, i think the health benefits are worth it. it just makes more sense that less chemicals has to be better for overall health to me

I'm an organic gal and I personally feel that the food tasts better and less processed (well....I guess it is!). I stay away from high fructose, hyrdrogenated, partial-hydrogenated words and items that have way too many chemicals. I figure the better I treat my body the better it will treat me. :goodvibes
