Just tried again online and the AP Booking Engine at disney.com is now working.
Unfortunately, it confirmed to me that my AAA rate for a partial hookup campsite is better than the AP rate. (For the dates of 12/02 - 12/16).
Now I just wish that "My Disney Vacation" would come back up, so I can confirm that they added my son, and added Magical Express for him.
