Friday 20 August
This morning we went straight to the Park for EMH and it was already very hot.
Main Street was quiet as we walked down it.
We went twice on Buzz - I was returned to the store as|I had a baaaaad score. Next we all went on Peter Pan and Dtr and I went on Dumbo.
Aaah, look at the lone figure standing at the fence down there.
Back to Discoveryland we trotted, for Dtr and H to go on Space Mountain for one more head-rattling, teeth-jarring, thrilling ride.....so they tell me.
We went back to our room them to pack, check out and have breakfast. It was here that we saw one of our fellow countryman being so arrogant and patronising to a CM that I almost wanted to go up and apologise on our nations behalf. He wasnt being quiet with his complaint and it was all about how his egg was cooked. H and I then had a muttered conversation that went something like...
That bloke is a bit cracked
Yeah, its no yolk, is it?
Brains must be scrambled
or fried
I think hes taken the wrong a-poach
Oueuf! That was a bad joke!
At which point, Dtr just burst out with What are you two on about? which made us laugh even more.
Anyway, back at the Park things were already busy but we had great fun wandering around and soaking up the sunshine and just watching things. At least our rain soaked start to the week had allowed us to get on lots of rides now we were content to enjoy the sun. Mark Twain wasnt very queue-y so we went for a ride on that
I can't quite remember what H was doing in this picture - a bit of a hoedown maybe.
Keel boats not running again.
The Molly Brown in for a full refurb
There were quite a few people waiting for us to finish our trip.
BTM was showing 60 minutes. Indiana was showing 35 but we queued anyway and it was only actually 15 minutes.
We went for a further explore around Adventure Isle, seeing some stuff we hadnt the night before.
then we went on Les Pays de Doo Dah
and continued our slow stroll around saying goodbye to the place. Amazingly it looks really quiet in this picture.
H + D had their traditional dance outside Pizzeria Belle Notte.
Look at the queue to see the princesses.
D took this photo and said "Dad, look romantic" Hmmmmmmm. My face is red due to the sun, not his silliness!
