The cast:
Me, Joanne - thirty something
Disney theme park loving stay at home Mum to....
Anna age 6. Food loving, show and attraction loving sweet little girl.
Poppy age 4. Fiesty, Buzz and Princess loving ticky little thing!
Richard - Forty something lover of the thrill ride.
Janice, aka Nanny (my Mum) the Fifty something lady who will "hold the coats" whilst we ride
This trip is our Christmas present to Nanny
Some pictures from our trip back in May :
The first point I should make about this trip is that the girls don't know, it will be a surprise, again!

The details: We are collecting Anna from school a little early on Wednesday afternoon to drive down to Dover to catch the 5pm ferry, dinner and homework
on the ferry and then I will change the girls into their pyjamas for the drive down to the Citea Marne La Vallee. DCR was full on this night.
On Thursday morning we will check into our two bed unit at DCR for three nights, collect our park tickets and meal vouchers.
I haven't done much planning, I've looked at show and parade times and have a rough idea of what to do and when. We only have EMH on our last two mornings (Sat & Sun).
On Thursday and Friday we plan to have our main meal at lunchtime, probably at Plaza Gardens and maybe the Silver Spur, I will book these at City Hall when we arrive. Our evening meals will probably include Toad Hall and Fuente. I'm hoping by doing this we will beat some crowds and have a midday day break and warm up out of the cold.
It's my birthday weekend so on Saturday we want to stay away from the crowds in the park for Fantilusion and the tree lighting etc so we are planning on having our evening meal at the Steakhouse in the village. This was my favourite meal of our last trip so we will be using our vouchers at face value there for my birthday treat.
We are planning on using the pool at DCR as it looks fab, we do like a pool break and although Nanny isn't keen on dipping she will for the sake of the girls.
Nanny is a virgin to DLRP although she has been to Florida with us back in 2007.
Of course we are looking forward to all things Christmassy and this trip was booked because we were completely taken in by the DLRP Christmas advert (and the free dining too
). I must admit we wanted to take the girls and Nanny to Lapland but the £5000+ price tag was just too much
DH is a massive fan of Christmas.
I think Poppy now meets the height limit for ToT which she didn't back in May so it'll be interesting to see if she wants to ride. Anna first rode it in WDW about two weeks after her fourth birthday.
They love Buzz Lightyear, Peter Pan, Small World, BTMR and PotC. Anna wasn't keen on Crush back in May. We all really enjoy Stitch Live!
We are looking forward to meeting Santa, tree lighting, Fantilusion and all the Christmas festivities.
I've just started packing and told the girls that Nanny is coming to stay for one night on Tuesday as she has a meeting in London (not a lie actually) and they suspect nothing.
Roll on Wednesday.......
