The one that got away!

I knew I should have bought that swimsuit when I first saw it! Went back to get it and darn it, it's gone! Now I have been on a hunt to find one just like the one that got away. Does that happen to you from time to time? Buyers remorse for not getting something you liked?

I am sooooo the QUEEN of that!!! With me, the main problem is that I am very indecisive. I always think I am going to find something I like more....or cheaper...at the next store. Then, ofcourse, I don't and want to go back to the first store. It drives DH bananas!! Now, after 15 years of this, if I even glance at something in the store, he grabs it and tries to buy it. Poor guy has been through my routine toooo many times! I like to think that I am getting better though.

You would think I'd learn by now, not to pass up on something I like! But noooooo. I still have other stores to check out. I have gotten better, but it doesn't help when you've passed on something really great!

Ha! That's me too! Drives DH nuts when I come home and say "I found this great thing" and the answer to "did you buy it?" is no

LOL. Ask my wife about going shoe shopping with me.
The other day, she said something like this to me:
"You always have to go to like 6 different stores and try on a hundred different pairs of shoes because you always think you might not be picking the absolute perfect, absolute best possible pair that can be found"

I'm like that with other things too. It drives her crazy.
On the other hand, I simply can't comprehend how she can walk into a store, try on one pair of shoes, say "these feel good, I'll get them". How can she do that? What if there is another pair that is even better and she never even bothered to try them?

But the worst for "non-buyers remorse" is items at Costco. They have such a limited selection and it changes so often, that there have been many times when we've seen something we liked, but either weren't sure, or didn't have the cash for it. Then a week later, we go back and it's gone and they aren't getting any more.
