no. Have to start to get ready for guitar lesson and school pick up. Are you watching now?

Yeah I recorded it but there are something like two 5 hour blocks because it's the weekend.

I LOVE the Olympics. Luckily Crap feels the same, so we watch anything and everything NBC wants to air while we are home. Swimming and soccer are my favorite events but we've watched a lot of volleyball this weekend. Hooker is tearing up the field and I still get giddy watching May and Walsh dominate.
What I want to catch is Soccer and Basketball.

USA basketball looked good today against France.
It must of showed earlier today. I had something automatically set to record and my DVR went to it, I think that's how I missed it.

I hope that these wounds heal up soon.

Me too. If I had extra patience, I'd share.

Still ignoring the Olympics, though I do watch what they broadcast on the news. Fran is very cranky, probably a combination of hurt and arthritis pain. I think my life is going to br he11 for quite some time. I really need to reconsider this F&W trip seriously.

I hope that these wounds heal up soon.

IS she on pain meds for it? Tell her I hope she feels better soon.:grouphug:

Bret - I just had lunch. But now I'm hungry all over again.

Skiboy - If your NBC broadcast of the Olympics is anything like that on our free-to-air Channel 9, then you'll probably see that game or highlights replayed at some stage.

For you Jo, here is my lunch at the State Fair on Thursday.

Finger steak fries

Hope that Fran gets better.

Looks yummy! How was it?

What I'm watching is the main NBC channel. It picks and choose what events to show, and mostly the Americans in events where you have lots of competitors. So it shows whole qualifiers with Americans, but if no Americans are in the final just a highlights. Has lot of interviews and such to introduce the events.

Tomorrow events will be spread over a couple channels, and in the evening they will have the same format on NBC.

Once we get done with swimming and gymnastics it gets more diverse with lots of team games getting to the chamionships. That will be nice.

If you consider morphine 30 immediate release, morphine 20 timed release and morphine 15 immediate release, prescribed pain meds then yes, she also has some good pain meds. If those don't work she also has percosett and Norco, but the morphine seem to do better. However, they aren't really working since she can't get her arthritis drugs.

I think the reason that she got the MRSA bug is that she took the arthritis drugs in June. That dosage wiped out her immune system and the MRSA just waltzed right in a soon as she had the infusion. She didn't want to accept the fact that her arthritis drugs would wipe out any immuinity to other infections, she just had to go for it.

With all those meds I think I'd be cranky too. I hope Fran gets some relief from the pain soon.

Really, those strong pain meds won't help the arthritis? How strange.

I'm packed for tomorrow and watching the gymnastics.

I am devastated for Wieber. She will finish in the top 10 but cannot compete for the all around with the "top 24," because only two people from each country can go. It should be the 24 who are the best on trial day IMO. Russia is killing the floor exercise. Loving it.
