Now that I know what YAGE means, I want it to be "Official" (ok I want to be like Dan and have something official too) Anywho for those who feel the need to YAGE this one is for you!

How long must one be gone for it to be a true YAGE I ask?

It happens when a poster gets ticked off at something, and posts about how they are leaving and never coming back.

But they usually do come back . . . in some form or another . . .

That is it!! This was suppose to be a friendly place, a place where I could trust others but after what ABCMEMBER did to me, well, obviously I am not wanted here.

I am crying on my keyboard as I type this. I have called my therapist and they agree, it is time for me to leave this board.

That post is followed by people who say leave or beg them to stay.

An official YAGE is at least 12 hours. more points for the longer you stay away. ;)

Do I have to YAGE? I don't want to :(

they usually wait for 3-4 pages of begging before they come back. :wave2: hey...where's Dax? I think she held out for at least 6 pages.

LOL at this, Kitty!

I have to say, two of the YAGErs that I think the biggest tantrums (oops, just remembered a third) are still gone. One of them has been gone a year.

Typically, the more drama a potential YAGEr tends to post prior to the YAGE, the more hoopla surrounds the YAGE.

It's pretty funny when someone YAGEs, you check their profile and see that they were last on twenty minutes ago-or their green light is on at the bottom left corner of the YAGE post!

Well, I'm offended that there's a thread like this. I'm going to YAGE now. Say goodbye to all the cute baby pictures. :snooty:

Well, I'm angry. I want to YAGE, but I can't. I can't deal with the 12 hour rule.

:rotfl: Man, that is just uncanny! LOL.

NO! Katerkat! Please don't take the cute baby away, I will go into withdrawal~

I will never be a YAGE - as stated in the original YAGE post - I even leave parties without telling anyone. ;)

I'm more of a YACE (Yet Another Covert Exit) :rotfl:

That's why the smart YAGE'rs should always go invisible!!! That way you can't tell how long they've been gone ;)

And it is wise to YAGE right before you go on vacation or to bed at least... makes the 12 hour rule a bit easier to follow :p

Why, Elaine, I didn't know you were preparing for a YAGE! :rotfl2: You're invisible now! :rotfl:

Great... my secret is out!

Now I *have* to stir up drama before I go!!!

I am highly offended that a friend of mine would treat me as this!

That's it, I've had it... the hell with you all!!! I'm leaving and taking my furry cat with me too!!!

*humph*

That's the beauty of a YAGE. You don't even have to leave it all to pull it off to perfection!

I think 12 hours is way too easy. A good YAGEr stays aways at least one week. :earboy2:
