We just booked our Disney honeymoon for Oct 7th-15th WHOOOPIE!

I am so freakin excited! I've read/heard on bridal websites that sometimes the honeymoon is anticlimactic after the wedding..Not ours!
We've been in June and November - but not October. Any hints on weather? Any hints on crowd volume then?

We're arriving October 31and staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter and that weekend moving to Caribbean Beach resort until the 9th. I'll be looking for all you lime green dis'ers!!

Have been Oct in 2004 & 2006. i love that time of year in WDW. Not very busy, gererally short waits to major rides. Closer to End of month is a little busier, but now half as bad as last Dec, ouch!
Stay out of Universal for HHN, major crowds - teenage variety.
The weather can be both hot and cold, started off in the 80's and went down to 60's, for FLA it was cold. We wore short sleaves to AK, little chilly, noting to wear winter coats hats and gloves to, like the local's, and was asked what planet we came from - New England
Pack a little of both, and if extreme changes, reason to buy new Disney Sweats!

We will be at SSR on October 30- November 6th. We are doing a YES program on November 2nd (hopefully we may have a family backing out).
I'm very excited!!!

I am meeting up with 3 other Dis families from New Orleans the night of the 25th
