omg i didn't know that there were other throwers here! lol

My season's over now but I do Shot put & Discus (We don't have Javelin & Hammer in High School here) & I love it!

I've done it the past 2 years and it's been great. So what's you PR?

mine's:

shot: 31' 5.75"
Disc: 90'3" but I've scratched on a couple of 100 foot throws

the 300 Hurdles is a really, really, tough race. But I know people who do it and say that they like it.

Forgot to mention in my other post, but one of my friends, who's a freshman, runs the 100m. Well, our school record is 12.8 seconds for girls and was set and then tied last year by a senior. This freshman, with no serious training or anything ran a 12.88 second hundred saturday. If she doesn't break the record next year, I'll be surprised.

it is and i've been hearing from people that they might change it to 400 hurdles, now that will be a really tough race, but idk if its true.

Just got back from the Class I Championships. Saw more records than I can count get broken. The most memorable was this jump, breaking the state record. Well, this jump was his attempt after breaking the state record. This is some guy I don't know attempting 7'1" at high jump.

The world record is 8'.5"

Bumping this up with news:

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a new world-record holder in the men's 100m dash.

The new time is 9.72 seconds- .02 seconds faster than the previous time. It was set last night (saturday) by Usain Bolt of Jamaica.
