DD and I just saw Return of the King for the 4th time today. We've got a long way to go to beat our own record. We saw Fellowship of the Ring 14 times in the theater. I've totally lost count of how many times we've seen it since on DVD. I've no idea how many times we've seen Two Towers. DD has autographed pictures of the entire Fellowship cast hanging in her room. Yes, I'd say we are fans!

Count me in..:bounce:

btw bloomie--I see in your siggie that you are from Louisville..I was just down there Tuesday through Friday.....:wave2:

youre the first person i've met from ky besides emily(FPgurl04)

Feralpeg -i wish i could see ROTK again...my mom thinks i should only see it once and then buy it when it comes out on dvd, but i cant wait for that long to see Legolas, Pippin, and Sam-theyre my heroes :tongue::tongue:

ive only seen it once, but i plan to see it again. other than that, sitting in a theater for more than 3 hours without using a bathroom is too much for me! lol. but im definitely gonna get the dvd when it comes out!!

yes, 3 hours is definetly a little uncomfortable, but hey!!! its worth it!!!

People might say I'm a LOTR fan;) ....seeing as I sat through the LOTR marathon at 8 months pregnant!!!! Some people say I am crazy......I say it was perhaps a once in a lifetime chance!

It was awesome to watch both extended versions back to back then go straight into ROTK....everyone was clapping, laughing, and cheering during all three. I hope they'll do it again sometime.

Amy I am so jealous of you... I wanted to watch it but the one day they showed it conflicted with so much I had going on at work. The best I did was see the movies a week apart each in the theatre.

Actually watched FOTR & TT today. I've seen ROTK four times already in the theatre and heard it is playing at our IMAX so I might have to check it out there :teeth:

omg, youre the lucky one...our imax is still playing lewis & clark!!!

yay!!! another member!!!

has anyone ever noticed...in FOTR, after Gandalf "falls into shadow" and theyre running before they get into Lothlorien, right before the shot changes, theres a little red barn, or something...im not a very good describer, but if you know what scene im talkin about, check it out

Julie_yet, you said you were into the books... just curious if there were any changes that you disliked from the book to the movie. I always am curious to know what "bothers" some.

Bloomie, our IMAX is playing several movies right now so I don't have many options for times to see it... I think it only plays at 8:15 at night daily so I'll have to find a good time to try to catch it. Maybe next Sat :)

And I will have to check out that scene... I just watched it today though so after Pirates gets done here, I'll put it back in and see if I can find it :)

yea, they dont show it for very long, just for a split second...

there's another one, too...

emily said that when Sam and Frodo are in the field and Sam says "one more step and it'll be the farthest away from home i've ever been," a car supposidly goes by, but neither of us can see it...

see if you can find it

i havent read ROTK yet-im still on TTT, but im almost finished-huzzah!!!
