The Official Lime Lovin' Croc Exchange

Nothing major - sorul82? asked us all to PM the person after us to make sure they know the thread was moved. You might want to PM the person ahead of you, too, since you haven't heard from them. The worry is that if folks don't know it moved, they might not know where to pass their Croc.

Which brings up a question: if we're not able to get in touch with the person from whom we're to receive or to whom we're to pass a Croc, should we jsut move on to the next person in line??? it's too early for me to figure the logisitics of that :surfweb: - can anyone see something bad happening there?!

Fritzie made it to South of the Border??!! Right on!

I've got Flora after sorul82? next week but I still haven't gotten a PM back from tea4sanity (scheduled for Flora after me). If I don't hear from them I guess I'll somehow get Flora to the next person.

Hello DISsers!

Flora Focker
2007

4/7-4/13 ellenmiele BCV
4/18-4/20 tea4sanity FW (trip date 4/18-4/25)

I see that Flora has another Gap too. I'm not trying to be a croc hog, but I don't want poor Flora to be alone :sad1: and that way she'll get to reunite  with Fauna for a bit.

I'm already signed up to take care of Fauna, but I would be willing to take care of Flora until Tea4sanity gets her. I arrive on 4/15 and will be there until 4/21.

If no one signs up for her those days before then, lemme know.

It looks like at least one of the crocs is going to DL. We will be at DL 8/8-8/12 and I think it would be fun to have a croc. We took Flat Stanley with us on our 10 day Christmas Cruise this last year and DDs bear (Pinky) has travelled all over with us too. We have pictures of Pinky on top of the Empire State Building and on top of Diamond Head so I doubt DH would cringe too much at a green croc!!!

I think it just sounds like lots of fun

Thanks!!!

Congrats on your trip! I think Flora started in DL, but I had her there. we got alot of reactions from CMs! it was fun! I thought my uncle would kind of cringe about carrying a croc around too, before the trip he was calling me a dork and stuff like that but he got into it too. :thumbsup2

Dog Pack Kills Crocodile In Florida

At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw
beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within
that cruelty.

The croc, one of the oldest and ultimate predators,
normally considered the apex predator in its natural
ecosystem, can still fall victim to implemented team
work strategy.

See the remarkable photograph attached, courtesy of
Nature Magazine.

Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the
gator preventing it from breathing, while the
remainder of the pack prevents the beast from rolling.

I don't have a picture yet but Francisco Juan Rivera de la Focker joined my family this evening. He is very jealous of Fritzie for getting to visit with his cousin at South of the Border! As soon as I get a pic of Francisco (aka Franky) I will post it for everyone. He will be going to Disneyland and seeing Hollywood in August and can then go on to travel with anyone else who would like to travel in his company. Warning, he LOVES tacos with beans!

Is this another croc that I don't know about?

I will soon have some photos of Freddie up and a couple of stories. I will post Freddie stories in my TR and a recap here later.

Hey - where's huggie bear - I'll try PMing her.

A new one....it looked like everyone else was spoken for on the east coast while we are going to DL in August!

And yes, the cracked are indeed blessed! I have that saying hanging in my home, have for MANY years :thumbsup2 .
