So after seeing the missing crab legs at Cape May Clam Bake, we cancelled our ADR for the 25th. We then had to research a new location. We narrowed it down to 3, all of which give us a discount with our Disney Rewards Visa!!! We ended up with Trail's End Dinner Buffet. So we went from roughly $41/person buffet to under $25/person buffet. I can dig that. Oh yeah, and I get a 10% discount on top of that! Yes, I did!

We switched our Cape May on 7/26 to Kona Cafe..that's our MK day so it makes since..hope I made the right decision

We LOVE Kona Cafe! We are actually doing a "date night" there while DD3 is in Club Disney one night. Can't wait!

1 week to go for me!!! DD3 has her camp today so I am going to do some packing/organizing today without my little "helper" - as much as I love her, things always take triple the amount of time when she is "helping"!

Kona is fantastic! One of our favorite WDW restaurants! Try a Lapu Lapu...the drink serves in a fresh pineapple. It's wonderful and so vacation-y.

20 days to go. We decorated our first set of Magic Bands yesterday. I think they turned out pretty good for the first time. Can't wait for our second ones to get here so I can try something else.

Working on a few shopping items and To Do items today. Called our vet to fax records to the Disney kennel, called ME to (for the third time) confirm that they adjusted my sister's travel dates, organizing what on earth I'm going to wear since I didn't lose as much weight as I wanted, grr! Haha!

This vacation has been the hardest I've ever gotten to. We've been working the last four days straight to clean the house for the puppysitter (been in complete disarray since our daughter was born in early 2013) and have been planning and packing for weeks (we sent two shipments ahead to our resort). I think if there's a letdown after this trip it could be mountainous!

This vacation has been the hardest I've ever gotten to. We've been working the last four days straight to clean the house for the puppysitter (been in complete disarray since our daughter was born in early 2013) and have been planning and packing for weeks (we sent two shipments ahead to our resort). I think if there's a letdown after this trip it could be mountainous!

Woo hoo! Almost ready to board your plane! I hear ya about the house being a mess - I am trying to get things in order before we leave next week but I feel like if I really cleaning today that I'll just have to redo it in a few days as our puppy sheds insanely! I also didn't accomplish my weight loss goal - 5 lbs short of it. BOO! Oh well... I am trying not to get down about it. I tried REALLY hard but just didn't get there...

I am also checking things off my list today - went to Barnes and Noble with a ton of gift cards and got DD3 some new books and magazines for the trip, got myself a fun puzzle book and DH some magazines. I love buying things - for free!

Hi! I joined in awhile ago, but never got listed on first post. I am at the Poly 7/12-16. I am already in Florida, on the west coast, enjoying beaches, Busch Gardens, and boating!

I'm SO nervous to do anything to ours... is there a specific type of nail polish to use/not use? I am thinking of putting blue and silver glitter all over DD3's... but am SO NERVOUS TO DO IT!! Give me courage!!

I'm right there with you on the packing. In addition to packing for vacation my office is moving Friday so I'm trying to catch up on work and deadlines, pack my office up then go home and try to keep up with laundry and keep the house in tact (DS4's room was nice and organized then he decided to get into his books, Jake play sets which are now all over and dressed himself so all the clothes he didn't want I found on his floor as we were getting ready to walk out!)

So why am I on the DIS???

Because I'm 4 days away and can't make up my mind about plans!
we arrive Saturday at 9:30 am we planned on MK for the evening but now Im' thinking maybe HS? That way we can get in both Fantasmic on our scheduled day when we have the Mama Melrose package and see the Frozen fireworks on the first day. we will be at MK 3 other days so I'm thinking that should be enough and we could always go on our last day in the morning if we wanted to since we don't fly out until 6 pm.

We did clear polish and tattoos on ours, with paint colors only on the Mickey heads. Turned out awesome. I had issues with my first trial (turned out they were sensitive tattoos and we adjusted for my second try), so I had to use acetone to clear it all off and start from scratch.

I'm not sure if I'm going to. I know in the past DISers have used the green Mickey paint chips from Home Depot and put their names on them, but Home Depot doesn't have them anymore, so I wasn't sure if anyone still did something. I'm still debating.

I am planning to put a Mickey head on our backpack that my DH will be carrying. It will be stars and stripes and say July 2014. I am also planning on adding my disname to it as well. So if any of you see it, please stop us and say "HI". I also have scheduled about 3 or 4 dismeets too. I am super excited for these!!!

To get the discount, you tell them you have the card and you will be using it to pay for your meal. Doesn't work if you are on the dining plan, can't save anything off of free!!! The difference in the price would be if you have a party of 6 or more 18% is added to both automatically. TIW gives you a 20% discount (I think that is correct, as I don't have one) and Visa is a 10%. TIW is accepted at MANY more places in WDW. TIW automatically puts tip on and Visa doesn't. Does that make any sense???

It is a hidden gem that I only found for this trip. I had heard about it before but didn't want to travel to the campground for food. Now I am willing to travel, especially for that much of a discount. When I was talking to the CM to make the ADR, she did say that the price was going up soon. My meal that is costing right around $25/adult will soon be $31.49/adult. I have read reviews of people who do nothing but rave about this place. My mom and dad say we ate there when we were younger about 35ish years ago!!!
