We have two more weeks of school. Loved this year, but still ready for summer to be here.

Hello - My Friends --- :wave2:

Just wanted to come by and Hijack the July Thread for a moment.

Midori just graduated 8th Grade and OMG High School this fall... Where has the time gone? Midori is growing up to fast.... She is already talking about Catholic Colleges, OMG - I haven't even started paying for her High School yet. :scared1: Tuition has doubled from Elementary

Miss you guy's - All of our trips are so close..I have learned so much about DLR and how easy it is to plan since there are only 2 parks and limited amount of eateries....

Congrats to you and your daughter on the graduation.:cool1: My stepson graduates from 8th grade as well. We're surprising him with a Disney vacation to celebrate. :goodvibes

Yay!! I was up early today tweaking FP's for one of our days and adding details to our touring plan. I figure shows won't change to much between now and July!

I've been tweaking things as well, especially now that I switched us to POR before WL, adding in some DTD time. :-)

Unfortunately, I'm up early on weekends during the school year because I have a super reliable body clock that just automatically wakes me up at 5:15, even on the weekends :crazy2: Sometimes I can fall back to sleep, but (regarding Ferrentinos' post below,) I had all the end of the year school stuff that I need to do running through my head and I couldn't go back to sleep ;)
3.5 weeks left for me - end of year paperwork is the worst!

I keep doing that, too! I'm sort of liking the new FP+ system because it's giving me something to DO :rotfl:

5 more days for me!!!! Yay!!! I've been beyond ready for this school year to be over. :-)

5 left here too!! Can't wait for it to be over so I can finish planning this trip (without the kids around since they both have summer programs)!!

If anyone is interested there are FP+ available now for Anna & Elsa from 5:00pm until 30 minutes before Park closing in July and June. I don't know if anyone wants to see them again or change their existing time.

Does anyone have experience using Touring Plans (the subscription site)? I have been building customized plans for my trip and I've completed Epcot, DHS, mad AK so far. The ride times, waiting times and walking times all seem spot on but the show times seem off. More than once it has said I can show up 15 minutes prior to a show without a problem when most of the tour / guide books I've consulted suggest 30 to 45 minutes in advance. I should mention all of the plans start at RD and typically include the first or second showing of the performance. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do you know if there are FP for the Lion
King show yet? I keep checking but haven't seen anything yet.

I checked last night, but was assuming they wouldn't show up until today since it opens today. Have you checked today?

We have been using touring plans for years and usually find their information to be spot on! In fact, the only times I have veered from their suggestions are usually the only times our plan did not go smoothly (ie tired family in the hot sun, long line, and everyone getting grouchy)

There is just 1 show we find you need to arrive more than 15 minutes early to be able to get in, it is Finding Nemo the musical. For all other shows, 10 to 15 minutes early is usually fine unless you want front row, prime seating. But I should say that we have not been since FP+ so I have not seen how this will change the crowds.

I also love their Unofficial Guide book, I have used it quite a lot. But I like the hard copy better then the ebook as it is intended to be a reference book and is easier to flip through. Happy planning!!
