~~**The Official January 2014 Group**~~

5:45 wake up to make Disney Dining reservations at our 180+10 window and got everything we want. Hoop De Do, Via Napoli, Ohana, Crystal Palace, Be Our Guest and Tusker House.

Now back to bed; have a Magical Day.

Were you able to do this online or did you have to call? I thought I heard that the 180 works fine online but for the +10 days of your stay you have to call due to some MDE glitch....
My ADR day is Friday, so I'm trying to prepare! Thanks

Hi everyone

Just found this thread and caught up!

We are booked to stay at Boardwalk Villas January 9th-14th... and I'm running the WDW Half Marathon :goodvibes

I have always wanted to run this race, but a January trip just never really worked for us... however 2014 is going to be the year! I work out a lot at the gym, but hadn't really run outside much until I registered for the Half... Luckily I am really enjoying the training and cannot wait for January 11th!

Looking forward to counting down with you all, having a few problems with ADRs (no Yachtsman Steakhouse or Plaza availability on 11th Jan?) but otherwise got everything we wanted... Tutto Italia, La Hacienda and Sanaa :goodvibes

Now, we just have to wait on California Grill reservations, make a tee time in 3 months and see what the weather dictates for our trip.

Nice calendar! Where did you get the Worst / Best times from? Is there a website with this information?

I am still praying for a discount email to our box. please please?

can someone break down the SPD deal vs. Free Dining? Does one benefit one family situation vs. another?

Thank you for quick reply!

OK, so we do the DXDP, and my DD12 is a Disney "adult", so I think SPD works out pretty well for us.... would Free Dining still be a better deal? Room is still rack rate with both lol

I priced out our 2 day park tickets.
3 adult $588
3 @ kids pricing $549
P/s/d saves us $39 on our park tickets

Children's dining plan cost for 7 nights for 3 people on DDP = $361

yeah, I don't think it's at kids prices. By the email it is a total savings of 20%. If you do the math with ddp plan and tix at kids prices that = 33% savings. boo

Value you can purchase the quick service plan.
Moderates you can purchase the regular dining plan.
I don't think you could purchase the dxdp under this promo.

If you are staying at a value can you bump up to the TS for an addition fee under the SP&D promo?

I'm all booked and plane tickets have been purchased for my 1-25 to 1-31 stay!

W're renting points at BLT, so not actually owners. We wanted to try it out though.

I am pretty sure that you can still get into TotW if you are renting points. I've also heard that at some point they were opening it up to anyone, not just DVC. Not sure if that's still true. In any case, I'll be happy to sneak you in while I'm there. ;)
