The Official GLEE thread

loved seeing NY
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Brittany's cup song, lol
like Quinn's shorter 'do

however, I thought last weeks show was far better.

SO FRUSTRATED with myself!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel asleep and missed the show last night...so when I realized I had slept through it DH (who tried many times to wake me up, and watched it himself even though he didn't watch the rest of the season) tried his hardest to find it on the internet last night but no go. Well after talking to my mom this AM she said she has it recorded!!!! I am so happy and will be going to her house after work to watch it!!!!

Watch it here:

LOVE Brittany!

Kurt: I feel like Eloise!
Brittany: I have pills for that.

"My cup, cup . . . Sayin' what's up to my cup"

Loved Kurt and Rachel's duet "For Good" from Wicked - DD was hoping for "Defying Gravity", though - but I was hoping that April Rhodes (Kristin Chenoweth) would make a surprise cameo for that number! Or Idina Menzel!

Lots of great oldies songs - Rhapsody in Blue, Moon River, Someone to Watch over Me, Bella Notte. :thumbsup2

Liked the surprise cameo by Patti LuPone - it would have been better if it were Barbra Streisand!

I was thinking there would be more of a story with Mr. Shuester and April - :confused3.

Quinn - ugh. She's such a self-centered cry-baby.

Did not like Vocal Adrenaline in Nationals - it was more of a solo for Sunshine (Charise) - hardly noticed/heard the rest of the choir. And Goolsby is a jerk!

And I'm fine with no cliff-hangers for the finale.
At least there were no more deaths!

But he will have 30 year olds playing high school seniors. According to imdb, the actors playing Finn, Puck, and Mike Chang were all born in 1982. They will all be 30 next year.
Neither Corey Monteith nor Harry Shum will be 30 until after next year's finale is already in the can. Mark Salling will still be 29. The key is whether or not they really graduate in next May's finale, as has been implied. Time will tell if Murphy sticks to his intention.

Really though, with the brain cells the guys on this show seem to have, it's not out of the question for any of them to fail a class LOL.
I have a hard time imagining the show without the current cast, time will tell if I would like a new cast or not.

Brittany has an awesome voice, I wish she would sing more!

Loved Patti Lupone!!! I was so glad they made her nice, and not like they made Olivia Newton-John last season.

I was so glad they did For Good, but they chopped it up so much from the original. Luckily the Itunes version is 5 minutes long, so I assume it's the entire song. They already did Defying Gravity, wouldn't have made sense to do it again. That is still my favorite episode of the entire show...:lovestruc

We loved the Finn/Rachel dinner scene, DD ah'd at the almost kiss. Yeah, they need to keep Finn around for an extra senior year. Patti Lupone was right.

Maybe Glee will have an offshoot series where we follow Rachel, Kurt, and Blaine (and Jesse?) to NY. That could be fun.

Thought it was pretty believable that they didn't make top 10. They have awesome vocals, of course, but the songs were thrown together and choreography non-existent. Brittany tried, but couldn't make up for all the non-dancers. They didn't even feature Mike Chang!

I love Blaine and Kurt :lovestruc

I think they have been the most believable couple on the show... everyone else is just too much silly drama and jumping around.
I thought their moment at the end was so sweet and simple.

The Blaine & Kurt moment was wonderful -- largely due to its sweetness, simplicity & understated matter-of-factness.

I have to say though that my fav couple was Artie/Britney S. Pierce. There was some real magic there & I haven't given up hope it's gone.

Does anyone else despise the Rachel/Finn storyline? I can't stand the two of them together, and will be waiting for that to be done. Anyone else hoping that they finish that romance off in the first episode next year?;)...just not a fan of them.

But love, love, love Blaine and Kurt! My favorite couple of the year, they're very sweet together.

I'm happy with how both relationships have been handled.

I love Rachel and Finn together... way better than Quinn and Finn :)
But Blaine and Kurt are handled the best, and the least outrageously.
I don't know but I got butterflies during both Blaine and Kurt's coffee house scene, the fact Sam and Mercedes are together but most of all the sweet library moment with Finn and Rachel. I love romance their romance it makes me feel warm inside like I just ate a flaming caterpillar.

:love:Finn:love:

I think Finn and Rachael are made for eachorther :)
I Will happily be Rachael:')

I Really want to see glee live ! xx Bank on dad me thinks;):rolleyes1

I could see Finn eventually getting up the courage to go with Rachel to New York.

As annoying as Finchel drama gets, I feel like a lot (not all) of it is kind of realistic. Maybe that's just me. I've loved Blaine since the second I heard Darren was going to be on the show (I'm a big Darren fan). I think his character is really powerful and the way they've built Blaine and Kurt's relationship is very realistic. However, I feel like they're just in their honeymoon phase. I'm kind of interested to see how they would handle a disagreement.

Also, did it bother anyone else that no one talked about Beth (Puck and Quinn's child) at all? Not a single word.

One of my High School friends gave a baby up for adoption a couple months after graduation. It's not a subject that was ever brought up again. We lost contact after a few years, but during our friendship, she never mentioned it. It's not a subject you bring up. I think in Glee it's pretty realistic given Quinn's character traits. She was more consumed with being prom queen. Probably trying to put the baby out of her mind.

I think Beth will come up again, probably if they go down the Rachel's biological mom plot again since thats who Beth belongs to.
