I just watched it on Hulu, I have to say I really liked it! Heather (Brittany) is an amazing dancer! I know they copied all of Britney's choreography from the videos, but Britney is a great dancer and for Heather to be able to pull off the same moves

One of the worst episodes yet. They didn't even attempt to cover any storylline aspects until 20 minutes in. The britney songs were done well but didn't fit anything, just thrown in dream sequences. A bit of story was done on Finn and Rachel's lives but afterwards they just made up.

The episode had no major storyline. You could tell any Glee follower two things:
1. John Stamos is the dentist Emma is dating
2. Finn and Artie are on the football team now

After that, they didn't lose anything from missing the episode.

ITA, and I will add that John Stamos' role was ridiculous so thank goodness Finn is back on the football team so I can say I didn't watch an hour of crappy music videos.

I also thought last night's episode was contrived, but at least the dance numbers were good. I think that Britney Spears wanted to be on the show but they couldn't think of a storyline for her, so this was the best they could do.

I was watching Heather last season. They always put her in the back so she wouldn't overshadow the rest of the cast. She was one of Beyonce's dancers on her last tour (you can find her doing "Single Ladies" on Youtube).

Also, seriously, Mr. Shuster joins in on a number with the kids?? Even though he's talented, that was lame as well. And what was with the mix of Britney Spears and Fosse?

I agree with your statement, but I loved it for what it was. Heather Morris is excellent and the songs were great. I thought that "Toxic" in particular was hilarious and creepy all at the same time.

Next week looks good.

I just watched it again (OK twice more...) just to see Mark from SYTYCD dance. I don't think I'm ever going to erase this episode!!


And I agree... Heather ROCKS! She's by far my favorite singer/dancer on the show. She'd be my favorite character too if Sue wasn't there.

I'm on the fence about this episode. On one hand, I liked the music and the dancing. On the other hand...it seemed a little forced and no real banter or chemistry with the cast. It felt awkward to watch...and again..no plot line. But I can enjoy just watching musical numbers if there is a way to tie them in.

However, Brittney can dance like nobody's business..wow!

I think this was the worst episode! But then I can't stand Britney Spears or the Brittany character. The fuzz head nerdie kid (forget his name) just gives me the creeps. The previews for next week look good though.

I agree that the storyline was a little off (and Mr. Schu should NOT be singing songs like that with kids even if it was hot LOL), but WOW Heather Morris is fantastic! I would have watched her dance all night!! And she sings way better than Ms. Spears herself!

Its funny how people react to different things. I LOVED the show last night. It was like the shows they did last year with Kristen Chenoweth, they really didn't have anything to do with the storyline, but highlighted the singing and dancing of the actors.

Me, too. Last night was just fun and very funny. I like the storylines, too, but every now and then I just like the flat out funny and full of music/dancing episodes, too. Apparently, the teens around here loved it. They are the Britney generation!

Omgosh I am such a GLEEK! I am so in love with Mr. Schue, I want to have 50 of his kids. He was so irresistible when he did the toxic dance and kept glancing at Ms. Pillsbury.

Tonight's episode does look good. I listend to the previews of the songs on iTunes and they sound good. I think I will wait until the show airs though to decide of I want them or not.
