I have read that VM won't come back so they are trying to get Rebecca Buding(sp) to play Brenda.

I so totally agree! You guys know that Maurice Bernard was on AMC in the 80's-90's as Nico Kelly, another "bad/good guy" ? It's hysterical to think back to that time. He was like the adopted son of this guy that was a scammer named Crede Kelly. Nico wound up married to this girl named Cecily Davidson (played by a girl that could pass for Rebecca Budigs older sister). Oh, it would be so funny to see RB play Brenda! Oh yeah, he also played Desi Arnaz Sr. in a Lucy bio.

ETA-WHat did you guys think of the S&C bathtub/hair washing yesterday? Frankly, it scared me! I FF because I couldn't stand it.

I almost lost my dinner over that scene, I had to FF too! I'm glad Carly had the cajones to tell Sonny that she is in love with Jax. Now....will she keep her promise? I see in the previews for Monday's show that he's back (Jax that is.)

I guess Alan bites the big one on Monday.

Oh....and who was the dude watching the news clip of Sam being hailed the hero at the end of Friday's show? Her father or a possible new suitor? (I've been skipping the spoilers so if it has been already mentioned, sorry!)

After reading Jenn Lynns spoilers I think that the mysterious person was actually that Amelia woman. If you look closely that watch had an awful lot of diamonds to be a mans watch. And what guy would have a picture of a guy on the dresser?

SPUMOR about Sam's secret is that she *faked being PG and was going to give the baby to the couple after being paid $$$ by them. She was running a scam/con and skipped town instead with the money. The Husband got depressed and committed suicide. And the Wife, Amelia, wants revenge and conveniently sees 'Sam McCall' on tv.*

IF that's true, I'm ready to write Sam off completely. She was actually more likeable as Livvie! Just stop the whining and get on with your life for Pete's sake. Get a real job, pay your own bills, stop depending on the gravy train!

You know, I actually thought she was very sweet to Liz during the hostage thing. I liked her then. I can't believe her being sweet to Alexis since she hasn't apologized (yet). When she is around Jason she is so whiny and crying. I think she needs to hang around Nikolas more and get away from the mob people. Her and Maxie as friends is ok too.

I don't buy that one. It seems so Dr.Phil (ironically he just had a story like this on) ... so maybe it's plausible that the writers are ripping Dr. Phil off now since they are running out of storylines. I think that TPTB are being pretty secretive with this one so maybe it's actually pretty good like she's actually the spawn of Casey the Alien and Alexis

I really liked the interaction among Alexis/Sam/Nikolas right after the explosion as they were waiting for other survivors to come out. Sam and Nikolas actually interacted like cousins might. For crying out loud, they're also involved with two people who are brother and sister - you'd think we'd see more overlapping of their story lines.

The other day when Lucky and Sam were still waiting for Liz and Jason to come out - there was a moment when Lucky had his hand on Sam's shoulder (I think Cruz was giving them an update on the situation) and it suddenly dawned on me that they sort of looked good together. Hmmmm. Shall we play musical partners??

To me there are certain characters who can only be played by the original actor/actress. Brenda is definitely one of them. I can't imagine anyone else playing Brenda aside from VM and if VM can't or won't go back to GH, I'd rather not see the Brenda character back on screen.

Well, of course she will sleep with him when the baby secret come out. She has the morals of an alley cat and sleeps with anything that moves. They have had them chatting more recently. Of course with Sam, it was only her trying to convince Lucky to stick with his marriage because she is jealous of Elizabeth not because she ever has a real relationship, friend or otherwise. OK , I admit it, I just really don't like her. She wears on my very last nerve!!

MB and VM were *the* couple in the 90s. After she left, they couldn't keep one Carly with him. Personally, if VM won't come back, then don't bring Brenda back. VM is Brenda.

Sam...I noticed the little moment she had with Lucky too. Hey if they write her off then Liz can be with Jason and Maxie can have Lucky.

Emily, well- I couldn't bear to watch her with Sonny. Everything about her changed, her way of dressing, her hair, her speech, her personality. I like her with Nicholas, that's the Emily who has always been there, but she just seemed to have a frontal lobotomy when she was with Sonny.

I agree about how she was during the hostage crisis Jenn Lynn. I can't remember, did she do the whispering before Sonny? It seemed to me like that started during her mob girl stage and she still carried it over some afterward. Sam whispers half of her dialog too, when she's not crying. Maybe they have a coach telling them it's the thing to do.
