It's that time of year! The Golden Globes are the official kick off the live entertainment award show season and all of our annual LIVE WATCH PARTY threads! This is my favorite time of year on the DIS.

The Red Carpet is back on E! on TV.
So, get ready for lots of dresses to talk about.

Some [drunken] speeches to laugh at
cry
or be forced to sit through.
And awards handed out.

Host: Comedian Nikki Glaser, back for a second year.
Nikki promises light roasting and laughs again this year.
Two awards already handed out earlier in the week:
The Cecil B. DeMille award for outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment went to Helen Mirren.
The Carol Burnett award for outstanding contributions to television on or off the screen went to Sarah Jessica Parker.
Onto to the shows:
Everyone is invited. Newbies welcome!
Load up on munchies & drinks, wine & booze welcome. Including the Red Carpet, it's 5 hours depending on when you arrive or if you stay for the whole event!
Pop in and out any time throughout!
Start times:
East Coast (EST):
The Red Carpet starts at 6:00PM (ET) on E!
The Award Show starts at 8PM (ET) on CBS.
It will also stream on Paramount+ (specifically the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan for live viewing, or any plan is for next-day on-demand.)
West Coast (PST):
The Red Carpet starts at 3:00PM (PT) on E!
The Award Show starts at 5PM (PT) on CBS.
It will also stream on Paramount+ (specifically the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan for live viewing, or any plan is for next-day on-demand.)
This is a NO SPELLING POLICE THREAD!
The Spelling Police will be off duty and possibly slurring their own typing by the end of the evening. Typos allowed!

Let's have another fun evening!

Hamnet. It's long, but it's a great movie.
