The OFFICIAL December 2014 - Christmas Magic

Going from 12/12 to 12/16 but my Mom doesn't know that she is going yet :) If all goes well, she wont know until the day before we leave! She is going to flip! :thumbsup2

Joining as well! Booked for 11/29-12/6 at AKV - Jambo CL! First trip with just me and DH :yay:

with a little less sleep this morning(5:45am cst) and a little bit of luck and patience, we changed our reservations and are able to take advantage of free dining(only on hold for 1 1/2 hrs. I will say that I am sad to not be at POFQ, or POR but it looks like CBR here we come again. kids were able to request the building they wanted but we will see if they get it. either way, super excited for another Disney Xmas:santa:

I'm 10 days away from our May trip. We're going for 17 days :yay:

But we are gearing things up for the upcoming trip, the DW and I decided to spent Christmas at WDW. We just booked our trip from Dec 20th - Dec 18th at Coronado Springs with free dining!! I'm really nervous about the crowd level but its going to XMAS!!

PS you should start a Master list with everyone going and where they are staying at. Just a suggestion :)

We're staying December 5-12 Wilderness Lodge. Already booked MVMCP. We want to see Osborne lights and the Candlelight Processional. First time doing any of those and first time at Wilderness Lodge!:goodvibes

A little "late" to the party here, but we just booked yesterday! :goodvibes Thanks to the FD offer, we are able to go back to WDW! :thumbsup2 We're staying at CSR 12/12 - 12/16

SO EXCITED to see the mouse at Christmas again! :santa: Our ONLY Christmas trip was 2009. We enjoyed the decorations soooo much!! We are planning to spend one entire day of this trip going to all the resort hotels to see their decorations. They are all sooo cool with different themes. Disney does such an awesome job.

I haven't seen a lot of folks posting with our dates (but I haven't read through all 27 pages of this thread either!), so I'm not sure what to expect for crowd levels during that time.

We just booked CSR the third week of December! It will be my Second visit to WDW but 1st at Christmas!

(I'm going to post this in several December trip related places, here and on FB, so apologies if you end up reading this several times!)

We're going Nov 29-Dec 8 and staying at POR.

Since there's no Free Dining for our dates, we're hoping for a Room Only discount and looking for other ways to save a little.

I found a homeschool group offering a GREAT price on 5 or 8 days Park Hoppers with Water parks and More for $252/286 per person. The only 'catch' is that your school age kids (and some adults with the younger grades) attend one class on Nov. 29th or Dec. 1st. She's also offering a Memory Maker share. This is a private group arranged through the Disney Youth Education Series, and you don't have to be homeschoolers to participate. The organizer is also a member of the Dis.

We're so excited about the Water parks, we may add another day to our trip so we can go to both!

If anyone is interested, PM me for a link to the Facebook page with more details! (If you are kind enough to say I referred you, I get a discount on my tickets!)

Regards,
C.

Hi Everybody!:wave2:

Just booked December 23 - Jan 1 with free dining at CBR. First Time for Christmas! We've gone many times in the summer and this will be our first experience with FP+ as well. Last summer we were not part of the test.

So excited! Now I am about to read through the thread and see if I can pick up any Christmas touring tips!

Count us in on a trip in December too! It's official now because we bought our plane tickets Friday - $873 for 6 people from Worcester, MA to Orlando - couldn't believe the great deal! Although we did have to add a day at the start on our trip - such hardship, I know lol... :rotfl2: :cool1: Have to update my ticker now too :goodvibes

Does anyone know when the park hours for December are coming out? I know they just released the dates for MVMCP but still haven't seen the hours so can't really buy til I know which is a bit frustrating. In such a planning mood & those hours are holding me back lol.

That is AWESOME! I just paid $2200 for five people from Westchester County to MCO. I almost fell off my chair!

Booked DV FD last week for CSR Dec. 20-25! We were planning on doing Thanksgiving at POFQ but when FD dates didn't work out for that week, my DH said we could go at Christmas time. I cannot wait! We usually go every two years but last year we had a few bumps in the road and couldn't make it. It has been 3 long years since we've been to WDW! We are so excited to be going back!!

New to the thread.

We are super excited to be at Disney during Christmas.
We are staying at CBR Dec 12 - 20 with FD. There are 10 of us for my in-laws 50th anniversary.

Does anyone know when the park hours will be released for December? We would like to know before making dining plans. Hoping for Candlelight Processional & Fantasmic Dining Packages. Also hoping for airfares to come down in price.

We can't wait to get the park hours then begin to put the plan together. I think someone else said it best "Woo-Hoo!"
