We just officially changed our resort from AKL to POR for our trip in December. More romantic, since we're going for our anniversary, and we think we'll be getting more, while paying less. I just can't wait to go!!!

Add me to the list of completely stoked DIS'ers heading out in December! I'm *hoping* to be there from Dec 21st-31st. We are just now looking into resorts off the monorail and hopefully we'll get stuff booked soon. Worse comes to worse, I'll be stuck at my mom's house which is about 20 or so minutes away.

Anywho, does anyone have a good recommendation as to best off-the-monorail-restort for toddlers?

Our 2nd trip to the World - of course, our 1st trip was a "once-in-a-lifetime" thing - and this time we're taking my Mom with us.

We were originally booked for Dec 7-15th, then had to change to Nov 30-Dec 8th because of work constraints, but that's cleared up now so hoping to switch back to 7th-15th.

I'm going to have to send my TA a thank you card, lol!

What code did you use?

If you used the 40% off code to book your trip, this code does not begin until Dec. 9. If you move your first day to the 8th the 40% off code does not apply.

DH and I will be at the Contemporary Dec. 19-23.

Okay i finally joined the board.....yeah!! We are planning on going to DW for 7 days in Dec. This will be our first trip......it will be my husband and I and are two kiddos. I know this is probably a crazy question to ask but is 7 days too long to stay at WD?

Never!

Seriously though, especially since it's your first trip, it's good to have that many days at your hands (if you're hitting the parks the whole time) so you can actually stroll through and enjoy the parks, take in the sites and not rush things. This is good also since you're going with kids and kids tend to putz around sometimes.
