Happy New Year, everyone! That Luann comic strip is cracking me up - so true, so true!

Of course I've managed to miss the last few TV appearances, even though I've had warning...*sigh* I need to learn to set the VCR right away and then go back and watch, instead of trying to get others to watch when it comes on.

yesterday my home page was headlining that for 2004 Barry Manilow will be IN IN IN and CLay will be OUT OUT OUT !! I doubt it.....but I was wondering what your thoughts were...since you love them both

Well, you know me...Barry's ALWAYS been IN! Can't imagine why they said Clay would be out, though...seems silly, with all the success he's seen this year.

Unless, of course, they know something about the Clay/Kelly concert tour that's being tossed around...they're probably thinking of how well "From Justin to Kelly" did.

Probably simply the "media" trying to persuade the public that it knows more than we do. The Clay is OUT, Barry Manilow is IN story was in our local paper, too. While I enjoy Barry Manilow's music as well as the next gal, I don't think the teens/tweens will be so quick to jump on Barry's bandwagon. Aside from those of us, shall we say more mature gals, Clay's fanbase is driven by those fickle young things.

Perhaps the writer(s) of the rubbish is merely keeping an eye toward the next edition of "Idol". I don't see that Kelly was all that removed from her perch by our guy Clay (unless of course, you count record sales. . .)

After watching "World Idol" the other evening it made me wonder if that will be a regular event, too. It then made me question how the producers could get the more popular (and I didn't say more talented--no need to offend the Rooooooobeeeen fans) Clay on versus the winner since Clay really seems to have done a better job selling his music and himself, at least here in the U.S.

BTW, when's the new single being released--anyone know?

-Aiken makes network "acting" debut on Ed in January.

hey everyone!! i don't think that clay will be "out" this year...he's too hot on the charts right now...besides, i don't think that his claymates will let him fall far anyway!!

i'm impressed debbie...twice in one day!

here's saturday's comic...not sure if that's the end of his appearance or not...today's comic had nothing to do with clay at all!

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope it was fun for all! I made my FIANCEE (still excited) cease all talking and pay attention to clay. He loved it, he just doesn't know it. Clay was so cute! So I'm supposing The Way is the next single, which works for me. My sister wanted me to ask if anyone has heard talk on the Clay tour? She's heard rumors about a Measure of A Man tour in 2004, but nothing since then. Anyone have any insight?

he mentioned while on MTV on NYE something about a possible tour with kelly clarkson...while i think kelly's talented, i don't want to see her in concert...just clay! crossing my fingers that he makes it to the indy area this year!!!

I've been following this thread and today found it on page 3 so bumping up.

I have found his CD perfect for my 3 mile power walk. I finish it up while I'm doing my cool down stretching..

I'm old enough to be his mom and find it so refreshing to have such a wholesome young man making it in the music industry.

just fyi...ryan seacrest is hosting his own show of some kind and it begins next week. it runs the same time as TRL, i guess....but it's on your local UPN stations. i think it's called On the Air with Ryan Seacrest. i'm sure we'll be catching glimpses of our man clay!
