What's all this 1 star, 2 star, etc. and recharge stuff?

You can combine magic pins of the same type (up to 5 pins - a 5 star)

The more stars a pin has, the longer the effect lasts, and the shorter the time you have to wait before you use the magic again.

Once pins are combined, it can't be undone, and this doesn't work on the Kellogg's magic pins.

I updated the first post with some recharge times (I have a 1 and a 2 star bat so I compared them, those that have 3 and higher, please help me with the numbers so others can see if it is worth it, thanks)

For kicks I will add this information: resale on bat magic is 1000 credits - like anyone is going to resell it. I know someone with 5 star I am not going to combine mine but will see if I can get him to post the inf or tell me... but it does last a good amount of time.

Five star bat magic lasts a whole minute, and takes 30 seconds to recharge.

(btw: At first i thought these bats would be creepy, but they are the cutest darn things in the world! LOL )

Yes it does... I tested a 1 vs a 2 star and the 2 star lasts almost twice as long (although I didnt time them, I did laps... lol) and antoher person just posted a 5 star lasts 1 minute and recharges in 30 seconds (the 1 star recharges 1 45 and the 2 star around 1 minute 30 seconds...

Ok perhaps 'idiots' was a little harsh lol... I was tired and somewhat cross, especially seeing as the really annoying people on vmk have been really bugging me lately. Still though... anyways it's funny the lines were huge this morning and then in about half an hour there were empty emporium rooms, lol. But it's awesome how much you can trade for one bat magic. I bought several and I now have nearly everything on my wish list, except of course the really really rare stuff like inferno and stitch hat.

yes it is interesting, the only thing I would really want is inferno and yet I saw one girl offer every piece of furniture and clothing she had for bat magic, obviously that might have been not much or could have been a lot. If some of these kids whould have spent there time earing some credits instead of begging thay might be half way there at least, I have been hit with probably 100 trade requests friend requests and as many beggers simply because I am wearing bat magic (ok more than one)

omg! it turns out that if u are wearing a mulitple amount of bat magics you can use one and then unlike teleport now have to wait to use the other

I hear ya doc...I am wearing my bat pins and I am getting flooded with beggers. Grr.... I have played numerous games of fireworks to get my credits where now I almost need glasses. I finally put "not trading bat magic' in my signature so i hope that helps.
Now i know what the poor ppl that have inferno go through.
