Two sets of clothes a day let us feel human. We are doing a split stay and I think I’ll do laundry before moving to our second resort, to cut down on how much we are bringing. Still, that’s a lot of clothes, though not taking up too much space, given the nature of the clothes.

I booked 1900 Park faire, too; I think the character interactions there look fun.

We started doing laundry on each longer trip a few years ago and it works our perfectly. We also like to change outfits when it is really hot and there are 6 of us. That would be a lot of clothes to pack.
We love 1900 PF for dinner - the step mother and sisters are so much fun.

My stuff has pretty much not been put away since last august. I just resort the pile by my bookshelf in my bedroom, print the new reservations/FP etc and tuck them into trip folder. The good thing about that is all my ziplocks with sunscreen, hair spray etc are already to go. Had to replenish stuff after our trip to Chicago last week.

We also have a toiletry bag always packed. At the end of each trip I stock it with anything we used - so it usually pretty much ready to go.

Woo! Was able to get FoP FP! Checked on a whim and they had a couple passes available in the evening, so I switched the Navi ride for it.

That happened to us a few weeks ago and we got FOP when we wanted it. That is great.

Has anyone heard anything at all about the progress of Kringla Bakery? I was hoping it would open in August since that is toward the end of summer, but I guess September technically is according to the calendar, right?

There is a DVC member event at EP on 8/15. Reports are that food vouchers are able to be used at the bakery.

Well, it's normally a dreaded time of the week. Laundry time. It will be less of a chore knowing 1/2 the clothes will be going into suitcases for Disney



My son I'm sure won't mind when I don't call him to put his clothes away. The trick will be to get his suitcase out of his room without him noticing.

This weekend I aim to finish up last minute purchases. It is so close now. Southwest has already sent the "Your trip is right around the corner" email. And yesterday a little booklet came from Disney. Hoping our Magical Express stuff makes it; but now that the kids are older, I'm spreading the stuff out more. Everybody is wheeling their own bag.

Joining the club! I got the e-mail saying my magicbands shipped this morning! I am 28 days out. Our January trip I got our MBs at 26 days out, so I figure they should be here by Monday! I hope anyway!

I feel like I have so much to do, getting ready for vacation and back to school shopping. We get back from vacation very late Friday and school starts that Monday, so I need everything done before we go. It will be nice to have vacation with the kids before they go back, especially since my youngest is starting kindergarten.

This was us last year. My oldest went back to school on the Wednesday after labor day and we came home the day before. I spent the last weeks of August before the trip running around for school supplies and new clothes

Glad we have a little buffer this year! lol

We get back from vacation very late Friday and school starts that Monday, so I need everything done before we go. It will be nice to have vacation with the kids before they go back, especially since my youngest is starting kindergarten.

I started to grab some school clothes this week with all the sales going on with places trying to compete with "Prime Day". (I do most of my shopping online.)
My kids go back to school August 24th, we get back the 19th, so gotta be ready before we leave for Disney!

(My youngest will be in 1st grade. Where does time go?! )

I have 2 teenagers to shop for, so gotta make sure they are set...

How old is your child? If stroller age, a fan that clips on the stroller. We used one when my DS was little. Honestly you will not need as much as you think.

I did get a stroller fan! He already thinks he needs to use it in his car seat.

We are driving home on the 7th and DD starts school on the 8th! She is turning 16 on the 6th so of course we want to celebrate in Disney that day! She is in high school so we don't get a shopping list until she goes to her classes. School keeps starting earlier for us every year.

My second set have shipped so now to stalk the mailman. Mine seems to never like to deliver my mail and holds on to it for a while smh.

That was us last August-we got home Monday and school started Wednesday. Had to have stuff all ready to go. But the kids are older so not as much detailed lists, and the college kid we didn't even have to worry about as we'd just moved her to Disney.

I declined our magic bands this trip as we have enough. Did get the booklet from first resort. Not sure if I will get the booklet for second resort as I haven't linked it in MDE so as to try to keep the surprise for hubby. He tries to be nonchalant about going to Disney again, but he's obviously stalking the wait times as he mentioned to me yesterday how surprisingly low the times for SDD seem to be in evening

Hoping we get the Magical express tags soon though. Just added it last week, so should be here this week I'd think...

Beach Club Villas August 17-24, so excited!

Me, husband, 14 yo daughter, 11 yo son, and (nearly) 2 yo son (his first trip except for when I hauled over to the Poly for a Dole Whip from our cruise ship when I was pregnant with him ) are visiting along with my father and step-father.

Luggage tags just arrived, can not wait!
