We had reservations at LLL last week. We had two reservations for 5 at the same time that we were hoping to all sit together. We had done this all week and we would just go up to the podium and give them both reservations and nicely ask if it would be possible to sit together. Up until this day it had been no problem each time. This time the CM said they had to go to speak to their manager, when they came back they said it was not a problem but it would be an additional 20 minutes. We said perfect, no problem at all. When they called us they walked us to the back, beyond the employee lockers....seriously we thought we were going to the dumpster! Once outside a door we were told we were chosen to dine in a special room called “The Office”. It is where the ’important people’ dine when they visit. You have to crank a wheel to get in (there is a secret button if you don't want to crank but come on we all know the crank is more fun)!! There are board games on the wall that you are encouraged to play so I taught the kids how to play Chinese Checkers!
Oh and we had our own balcony!
“ Did you know there is a secret room behind a secret door past the employee lockers at Lamplight Lounge? You have to be a celebrity, have a connection or get super lucky with a party larger than 8 adults. Through a secret door in Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier beholds a private balcony, games, rare drawings and of course a beautiful dining table for your party.”
Such a very cool experience, we were there for almost 2 hours just soaking it all in!
