Free dining is a go guys. No specific dates yet but I'm working on it. Could mirror last year with dates eventually going into December. First dates could even include the last couple days of August.

Was there any mention of RO discounts? I'll take what I can get but prefer RO. Have they ever done FD and no RO discounts? I would imagine the FD would fill the resorts so why offer both

Yah I'm honestly hoping for a RO discount over Free Dining. But of course, take what I can get

I am having a really hard time figuring out my ADRs since they haven't released park hours yet. I usually book dining around our park days. My ADR window is opening in 4 days!
We are also toying with doing a night at Universal just to see the WWOHP.

I do the same thing since I only get base tickets. I know roughly which places I want to eat at, so it's just a matter of picking the park day and then booking the place that in that park for that day. LOL

They say the Sept discounts come out in May, that gives Sept. folks 4 months planning time and their trauma of waiting for discounts is over while I hear Oct may not be out until August which leaves only 2 months plannning for us late Fall folks

I'm 180 days out 2 weeks from today so it looks like I need to book ADRs for each night JUST in case FD is out and there is no R/O discount for me...I had planned on only a few ADRs and eating in the lounges which aren't on the dining plan.

My life is so hard isn't it??

I booked for October, but received a "pin" code in my email for a room discount today (for use in August) I'm not taking advantage of it, but it's a good sign right!

I've signed my husband up for an account on the WDW website and since our last trip was booked under my account, I was hoping they might send him a pin. DH is really really bad about checking his personal email.

We've booked trips under both of our accounts, and have received PINs to both of our emails and via snail mail. You could always call and see if there is a PIN attached to your name/husbands name/address.

Booked Oct 1-8, 2014 at CSR. I'm very anxious to see what sort of discounts will be available for that time. Last year (funny enough, a week after we returned from WDW) on May 9 I received a PIN via e-mail for FD for the end of 2013:

For arrivals most nights 8/25–10/2/13,
10/18–10/31/13, 11/11–11/23/13,
11/30–12/4/13 and 12/15–12/22/13.

How great would that be to get that deal again (and not have to wait until August)?!

The visa offer is just an early release of the public offer, not a PIN. The dates will be identical.

The upcoming offer should just be for late summer dates. It will likely be late July/early August before the fall offer is released.

But has anyone on this board had Disney Dining for F&W? If they offer the upgrade for free, obviously we'll take it. But I was wondering if the Dining Plan is that useful since you only get 1 snack/day to use at the booths.

Just wondering if a Room discount would be a better option for us than dining (if it's offered)
