Up at about 08:00, a positive lie in this morning. It was scrambled egg on toast for breakfast. Before we left Kirsty popped in to the dollar store. We got in the car for a 2-hour drive to Clearwater. It was only 86 miles, but it did take 1:45 to get there. Logan was great in the car. We got there at just after 11:00. We got to the marina in Clearwater, thanks to a Tom-Tom Go 910. I went to the office of the pirate ship to get our parking voucher and pay for the 2 hour cruise. After getting back to the car we all went to the beach. It was lovely white sand. We where just to the right side of Pear 60. We spent about 1 hour playing in the beach. Logan and Kirsty buried my feet in the sand. Logan also spent some chasing the birds.
When we left the beach we got some lunch from Per 60. Logan spied a big slide on the way to the pirate ship. As we got on the ship we had a picture taken. Logan got given a gun and a pirate hat. We went on to the pope deck. Logan started playing with another little boy. There was free drink on board for all. After we left the dock they got all of the little pirates in the back cabin and gave them all water pistils. It was ok as they also gave us water pistils too. It was a mass water fight for about 5 mins. They then spent 20 mins telling the little pirates about pirate stories. Logan was enthralled with them. Then they got them back in the back cabin and sent them off on a treasure hunt. They also fired the big cannon.
At the end of the 2 hour cruise we headed off to the big slide that Logan had found earlier. He was the only one of the ride but he loved it. On the way home Logan fell asleep.
