Friday finds us back at MK for Early Entry - the REAL Early Entry. We ride Space Mtn twice and go back to other old favorites: Haunted Mansion, Buzz ( My 20 YOs favorite character), TTA, and Philharmagic. We had decided last night to do MK in the morning and MGM in the afternoon. I wanted to visit both innoventions, so we Monorail to EPCOT for several hours. The girls check the Flower and Garden room, we go back to Ice Station Cool for a drink and watch people drink the Beverly. We laugh about this because this is my wife's name.We can't wait to tell her! The crowds are heavy today as a CM told us three-day week-ends bring out the locals. We take the ferry to MGM to ride ToT. This park is packed as Star Wars week-end is going on and their are amny who are in costume. We have to Fastpass, which will be an hour and 20 minutes away, so the board says Star Tours is a 5 minute wait. The force is not with us as this part of the park is elbow to elbow with fans waiting to see the many characters who are out and about. We go to a nearby bookstore where I fall asleep in a chair for some reason. We ride ToT and head back to Pop around 5:00 to get ready for the trip home tomorrow.
What a week we had. The weather was great, the crowds low until Friday. We had never stayed on-site before but this is so neat we will do it from now on. We spent 6 night at the Pop and I don't think we saw everything. The detail in this resort is great. I can't imagine what the deluxe resorts are like. The bus system worked so well we left the car in the resort parking lot. I had planned to drive to the parks, but there was no need.
All of the castmembers were very nice (except Pecos Bills) and especially the people at the Pop Century. They seemed to go out their way to be polite and talk to us.
Fastpass is the new idea Disney has had IMO.
Photopass is also neat.
We left WDW at 7:30 EST and arrived home at midnight CST. We worried that we would be too tired to drive home, but we were excited to go home and I drove the entire distance. The next time go to WDW, we will leave early in the morning and stop as close to WDW as possible. Driving all night left us rather tired, but we liked the extra time it gave us.
Thats our trip. We will now review the pictures and video, assemble a scrapbook, and take it easy. My 22 YO starts her new career at a local dentist office (When she left for college she informed us she would never live around here again)20 YO will help with summer school, and me, well since I am a teacher I'm taking the summer off. Thanks to this forum and others our trip was great. I'll keep lurking and hopefully the next trip reports won't be 10 years away.

:goodvibes It's sounds like you had a magical vacation! Thanks for posting.

My best to your family! :goodvibes

Thanks for sharing the trip report. I really enjoyed reading about your trip with your DDs! Both my DH and I love WDW, but I do daydream about being able to take the kids by myself and have special mom time at WDW with them. :flower:
