Bert McCracken grew up Mormon lol. When I found out we had family in Utah I was like,"Are they related to The Used?!" and my sisters were like,"Ew they're Mormon??"



My sister thinks all of them are The post I read said what kind (probably wrong word?) of Mormon they were but I didn't remember that when I made my last post lol...

wow, they really do that? that's pretty cruel, especially the second part you said, because you can just chalk the first one up to ignorance.

i've been a fan of mike ever since i read ryan white's autobiography when i was 14. michael jackson brought light to that boy's very sad life and from there i explored his music and stuff and yeah that's where i am today. i never really believed the child molestation story... it just doesn't really make sense when you look at him. it was really just a family knowing they could get a lot of money from him if they lied.

My first memory of when I ever knew about Michael Jackson, was when I was in the car (I was about 7 or 8) and I heard a couple of his songs on my mother's CD with him on it. I remember I would get the lyrics to mixed up, like "Bad" but I loved singing to them.
I also remember the trial in 2002. That was really hard for me to watch, because even though I was only 12, I knew that he was innocent, and that people wanted his money.
When I heard that he had passed away, I began listening to all of his music, until I had all of his songs (well almost all) committed to memory. I just grew to really love and appreciate the amazing person he was and will always be. I am just so thankful to have been alive while he was alive.
