That would mean the Presidential Suite, five of the Junior Suite (Deluxe) rooms, along with several Courtyard View rooms are out of service on the Southwing halfway down.

Kristin- Looks like we will be there around the same time- Sept 29-Oct6 for us!
Also our first time at the WL, we had lunch there 2 years ago and ever since I have wanted to stay there.

Beckie-Thanks for the transportation info.. We will be enjoying that boat ride, but the bus-TTC will probably work out great for going to Epcot. The monorail is one of our favorite forms of transportation.

We will be there at the same time Sept. 30-Oct. 6. We are celebrating DD's 6th Bday while we are there. Her bday is Sept. 29th, but didn't want her to miss that day of school. We'll be leaving right after school. We are so excited and ready to go. Have a great trip. Maybe we'll see ya there.

Regarding the busses:
"The bus that went to the Magic Kingdom now goes to the TTC from now until mid December. They wanted to ease the number of busses pulling into the MK bus stop due to construction being done on those bus stops."

You know after I read this I started thinking. (I know very dangerous) I was wondering if it's just the Wilderness Lodge Bus that has been redirected and if so why? With the amount of traffic that goes through the area at any given time how much would one bus effect the traffic in the larger scheme of everything.

Hi, girls!

Ava is doing GREAT! I'll post more info about her tomorrow on humphrey's home.

Ava will be staying with my sister during our trip. . .we planned on taking her, but Kristina and her husband asked enthusiastically to take care of her. So we are considering this next trip to be the last "just-the-two-of-us" vacation for a long time.

While I'm sorry I won't be able to meet Miss Ava this trip, I completely understand why your sister wants to have her all to herself for a few days. Just make sure you let her know you expect for her to give Ava back. (we sisters are like that) I do expect many photo's.

Jeanne and I have been PM'ing each other so I'm excited about diner.

Can't wait to finally meet you and DH after 2 years...

It's too bad about the bus not going directly to the MK, however, the kids love to ride the rail so no big deal. This will be our first trip to the lodge and we are very excited (We still haven't told the kids). See you all there.

We returned last Sunday from our 8 night stay at the WL (our 2nd stay at WL this year). Just wanted to report that everything was great. We booked a standard view but was upgraded to a courtyard view at check-in. We had an option of north wing with 2 queen beds or south wing facing the villas pool with bunk beds. We took the bunk beds, DS #1 loves bunk beds!

From what I gather it is the WL bus and FtWilderness bus. They probably picked them because they have boat access to the Magic Kingdom and the other resorts don't.

Which MNSSHP are you going to? We are going Oct 2. Of course my DS-11 will not wear a costume, tried to talk him into at least a halloween t-shirt and it is NO WAY!! Our DD is very excited and keeps emailing me threads from the DIS, should have never sent her the link..she is driving me crazy wanting to change ADR's- forget that!! She is just biding her time anyway since her BF will return from Iraq a week after we get back- hopefully she does not wish her WDW trip away.
DS does not know what hotel we are going to, we watched the Samantha Brown show on the WL and he still did not get it....DD of course guessed.

If your kids are like mine we will probably see you all around the pool in the afternoons.

Ok-- right now you can put me down for Dec 2-7. I think that's what it'll be. We couldn't get the whole trip at WL, so right now we are booked at the Poly for the 7-9/10 part. I keep calling to try to get in to WL, or get a discount.

We are going Oct. 5th, but have been contemplating going on the 2nd. The 2nd is our Epcot day, and have really been second guessin staying there all day. I'll be the one with the 3 year old dd letting me know how mean I am constantly. She has started young I know. We are going as pirates.

Have you ever stayed here? I love this resort. It is just so beautiful. We definately plan on some pool time, my dd6 loves to swim. Have a great trip!

Hi all,

I hope you can help me. Although we aren't going to WDW until April, I am trying to sort out my ADR's and was wondering if I have an ADR for Crystal Palace at 8 am what time would I need to leave WL by car to get there in time. Or if I take Disney Transportation, what time to leave. I have never stayed at WL before and appreciate all the help I can get from you WL Vets. TIA.
