YOu guys rock!!!! I can't believe how nice you guys are on this thread. This makes me even more excited to go back to WL!!!! I will ask concierge about the vegetarian meal at HDDR. I got chills after readin about LisaRNs carriage ride, how it pulled up right at the WL!!! I will email IPO if they haven't within a few days. This will be an amazing anniversary!!!! What about gifts left in the room....like they do at the GF?
I would love to have chocolate covered strawberrries to eat when we get there.

I just wanted to let you know about having a suprise in the room. I will be there for my honeymoon in December so I emailed the IPO staff about a romantic suprise for soon to be DH. They suggested having champange and tuxedo strawberries delivered and said they could do arrange with the Disney florist to have some rose petals scattered on the bed. They said I could arrange that for any night I wanted which I appreciated since I think we will be way to tired the night we arrive to feel very "romantic". Hope that helps.

I am so excited about the renovations being done on the cl rooms. When will they be done? I remember reading that roaring forks was also under construction, is it finished? I broke my dh favorite travel mug...his WL one. I must get him a new one this trip. Anything special I can get him as a present for our anniversary that is from the WL?

I don't mind at all. I round the charge to my credit card, I'm still trying to find the receipt (this way I can give you a breakdown). The total came to $87.00.

If I remember, they said that the strawberries were $2.50 each (I think we ordered 8 of them). I think the Banfi was about $30.00. They also add on a delivery fee and the room service fees. I added an extra tip for the cast member.

The only thing is that I asked them to deliver it while we were out to dinner (to surprise my DH). When we got there the strawberries were there and it table was set with glasses for the champagne. They said they could not leave the champagne because an adult had to be present when it was delivered (which we didn't mind in the least). We called and they came right up with it.

This was a really nice experience and the strawberries were very very good.

Renovations should be done at end of July Roaring Forks rehab is done..but there aren't too many reviews on it that I can find Don't forget, if you are staying Concierge..you really won't need to purchase a refillable mug as they have water, soda, tea, coffee available up in the lounge As for the anniversary present..hmmmm...I love that gift shop..it's full of so many wonderful "woods" themed items. My last purchase was a WL photo frame which I put a family pic in that we had done during our trip I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.. but they have alot of "WL specific" items with the WL logo on them, from clothing to knick knacks to framed photos and as I said photo frames.

We arrive 8/19 and leave 8/27 I will take my laptop and if I can figure out how to use their high-speed they have up there..I will take pics with my digital and give some mini trip reports

I've always dismissed CL as out of my price range so don't really pay much attention to CL posts but, I'll be going down with my mother in Feb. and thought that maybe we could stay CL if we could get a discount and split the cost. So, can AAA or my AP help me out here? Anything else available? TheMouseForLess? Anything?

All Concierge rooms are one price..standard views the same as courtyards. (except for the suites of course) Prior to my booking the "free dining" package..I had a AAA discount on a concierge room
