My nan is kicking up a fuss because she apparently won't like anything on the menu at the restaurant we're going to for my birthday meal, she won't have any fun so she might as well not come.

If I dared to say anything about where we ate for her birthday, I'd get an earful of well it's my birthday, my choice and as my relative you WILL come. Not of course that I'm rude enough to say anything.
